March Topics

3/3/2018

Hello! I hope all is going well. This month is a little different article wise as I've got more lighter things like a few really good jokes and some amazing quotes by famous people. I've also posted an article I wrote on Cleopatra and it's mind-blowing if I say so myself because Cleopatra was mind-blowing. Men didn't have a chance against her beauty and intelligence. She was always several steps ahead of everyone else as she played all the variables in her head before making any important decisions.

My political posts this month include gun control, the mayor in Oakland who gave illegal immigrants a heads up that I.C.E. was coming, Hope Hicks and lying. I covered Gun Control pretty well and it smacks Liberals with straight, truthful, talk. I really am shocked how many questions they can't answer. See if you can get one to explain Detroit, South Chicago, Los Angeles, etc., as their violence has almost nothing to do with the legal purchasing of firearms.

What about how handguns and knives are responsible for more deaths than automatic rifles? So, it begs the question, why aren't they prioritizing...fish where the fish are so to speak? They stick their heads in the sand when it comes to handguns and want everyone instead to focus on assault rifles (which automatics are already outlawed). They are targeting rifles because it’s easy to target rifles as they look like what you’d go to war with and if push came to shove and Russia decided guns across the country in mostly Republican homes will bring their rifles to battle. Don’t’ worry if you’re liberal, we’ll protect you. Or will we?
😊

Along with the above political articles are ones that address other areas of life: 1) Should we try to be perfect? 2) The miracle tree on 9/11. 3) New show called: Dear White People and how it's a double-standard in television.  4) Some marriage statistics and 5) Why the QWERTY keyboard was created.

I really think this might be one of the best month's for reading because I've added more entertaining material. Hope you enjoy.

Take care and make it a great month!

p.s. Please feel free to copy and paste any of the articles you like wherever you'd like. You don't need to source it just post the article. Spread the word...thanks!

Relationships

3/3/2018

When it comes to relationships, people put a lot of weight into whether or not the man and woman have common interests. I don't think that's a bad thing but it's not anywhere close to the most important thing and that is whether or not the couple has common values.

Confession

3/3/2018

I almost cried once when a saw someone lose his volleyball. Background: The ball's name was Wilson and he helped Tom Hank's character get through years of being on a deserted island. When Hanks got off the island he lost Wilson in the ocean.

Watching Wilson float away and Tom screaming for it and jumping in the water to try and get it, did get my eyes a little misty. Anyhow that's how I almost cried over the loss of a volleyball. Now you know.

Trade Deals

3/1/2018

A lot of people are jumping on Trump for starting a trade war but the fact is, it's what he promised voters who voted for him; he's delivering on a campaign promise.

Trump's a negotiator. One of the first things in his book: "The Art of the Deal" is that you focus on your leverage and in this case the leverage is we're an $800 billion dollar customer. This is the money the rest of the world is making off us annually (China alone is a little over $500 billion), in unfair trade practices. If we're losing this much money and it's leaving our economy (every dollar drops our GDP), then the fact is we're better off with no trade deals. I realize it would negatively affect some industries like computer sales but the bottom line is overall our country would be better off.

Trump's not talking about getting a much better deal than countries like China but he's trying to make us more competitive; he wants a comparable deal. If we're paying a 25% trade tax then surely we could get it down to 13% which would put us more in line with our competitors. If they don't reduce our outrageous taxes then we have no choice but to modify ours. Isn't this only fair?

The bottom line is even with how devastating a trade war can be because of the politics involved, all Trump is trying to do is make a better deal...a fairer deal. What's so evil about that? What's so difficult about calling another  country out for unfair trade practices. Sure they'll get mad but what's fair is fair.

What I like most is there's nothing that Trump promised that he hasn't tried to bring to fruition. Even when Obama had the House and Senate he didn't follow through with promises he made; never even tried. So even though I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Trump's actions, so far he's staying the course and trying to follow through on promises made yet another sign he's not a politician.

Hope Hicks

3/1/2018

Hope has been the White House Communications Director for around three years and she’s leaving to pursue other interests. What makes me mad is how Democrats and the mainstream media are attacking her for her comments about sometimes telling little white lies (she said not about anything important and certainly not about Russia).

I find it disgusting that they’re attacking her for little white lies when they tell big ones every day and certainly tell MANY white lies all day long depending on who they’re talking to. They don’t have the moral authority to address lying of any type but that doesn’t stop them. In this case they’re only embarrassing themselves since they’ve got the worst ratings of any Congress before them in the modern era when it comes to trustworthiness.

Thanks Hope for an awesome job. She’s a Phenom so there’s no doubt we’ll see her again.

I'm Embarrassed

3/1/2018

I'm embarrassed at how we're handling the political corruption with Russia getting involved in our election. We're playing hardball with them over the issue, yet we do the same type things they did. We attempt to influence important elections around the world. This certainly isn't a secret to the CIA or our embassies for that matter who house a lot of our CIA agents.  It shouldn't be a secret to us either as we saw what Obama did in trying to cause Benjamin Netanyahu to lose the election. Or how about how we spent  money trying to influence Brexit?

So here we are shaming Russia, helping to negatively affect their image around the world, when we have no moral authority in this type matter. Remember when China did some severe hacking a few years ago? It was a firestorm for about a day then everyone moved on.

Why did we let it go? Easy…we hack as well. How could we rip into China when they know were doing the same thing? Let this sink in because I hope it will make you livid – Democrats helped shut down the story with the mainstream media; it was favor time. If there was digging into China then we’d inevitably get burned because of our Cyber Warfare Department.

Did you know that “Spy Swaps” go on a few times each year? When we catch one we can’t get angry because our folks are doing the same thing. Therefore, I say I’m embarrassed because we just don’t have the right to point fingers at other countries when it comes to certain topics.

Democrats want to play hardball with Russia something they cared nothing about when Obama was in office. Vladimir Putin had a great time doing anything he wanted, and Obama did nothing to push back. Whether it was the attack on the Ukraine or Syria, Putin owned Obama and it was embarrassing to see.

My Girlfriend Nancy

3/1/2018

How Pelosi was never committed to a mental institution amazes me. She's shameless which YouTube is flooded with crazy comments made by her. But here's a couple of things to consider: 1) Pelosi can be seen on video making a statement about Obama's tax plan several years ago and was hyping a tax break of less than $100. Yet as we know, she trashed the Republican plan which is giving taxpayers ten times what Democrats offered. 2) Pelosi is lying terribly about the amount of money people will receive from the Republican Tax Plan and the costs of the various programs.

If you pay very close attention to what she's saying, you'll realize that the numbers she's quoting are when the plan phases out in 2027. At this point a new plan will be put in place so coming up with fake numbers about what will happen ten years down road, isn't an accident on her part, it's a blatant lie.

I certainly don't have a clue about Pelosi's voting district but all I can do is make assumptions based on what I know about Pelosi and she has no problem telling lies. She's willing to ruin peoples' lives to push a political agenda. Logic proves the following: Pelosi is crazy. Pelosi represents her district. Therefore, Pelosi's constituents are crazy. I took logic in college and this is how it works. 😊

Perfectionist

3/1/2018

I've worked with enough people to know that many times you're better off not hiring someone who's a perfectionist. What I realized over time is that it isn't perfection I needed out of people, just progress. If we never give up on trying to better ourselves, we’ll remain a valuable commodity in the marketplace.
