Meet the Press

My wife, Maggie, and I used to watch the show Meet the Press (it began in 1947), regularly because it was such an outstanding political show that freely went after both political parties without bias. From 1991 up until his death from natural causes in 2008, it was hosted by the amazing Tim Russert who coincidentally both parties respected tremendously.

Maggie and I quit watching the show altogether when Chuck Todd took over as host. The show is now biased and is just like any other mainstream media with Chuck spinning propaganda for the Democratic Party, instead of actual news. He had the gall to say yesterday that illegal immigration is a good thing as it will reduce our inflation. Then he went on to try and explain his thinking and I ended up being embarrassed for him.

How sad that great shows like Meet the Press, are falling victim to bias coverage. You'd think they'd know based on the number of other left-wing shows that are flailing, that it isn't the right path to go down. Like they're trying to do at CNN now, Meet the Press needs to fire Chuck and get someone in who both parties can respect.

One Tough Woman

Caitlin Bassett is the lead female character on the television show "Quantum Leap." She was raised on a small horse farm outside Baltimore, Maryland. At 18 she enlisted in the United States Army and spent 7 years as an intelligence analyst, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and completing three combat deployments - two of which were to Afghanistan.

During her service, Caitlin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland University College in legal studies and, after her honorable discharge, moved to New York City to attend Brooklyn Law School. Once in New York however, she found her way into the theater and hasn't looked back.

Thanks for your service, Caitlin!

Here you go:

After receiving .003% of the illegals crossing our border, NYC's mayor is asking for $500 million dollars to deal with the alleged "crisis." This after initially saying to illegals to come to NYC because they're immigrant friendly as a sanctuary city. If states on our southern border would get this kind of money based on the number of illegals they’re dealing with, the government would owe them around $17 trillion dollars which is of course absurd. I guess these liberal cities thought they could get away with making the claim about having open arms and not having to worry about dealing with the problem firsthand, but they were wrong. Abbot and DeSantis wanted to exploit their lies and it worked and now liberals are livid which shows a terrible lack of character.
A reminder that neither Abbot nor DeSantis have done anything in moving illegal immigrants around that the Biden Administration wasn’t already doing but, in Biden’s case, they were secretly sending illegals to various red states around our country in the middle of the night. Liberals weren’t suing the Biden Administration over this but have no problem going after Abbot and DeSantis when the roles have been reversed. Once again, they lack integrity.
I hope you saw the video footage of illegals crossing the border and going directly to the first homes they saw to steal things including food. Do liberals think that illegals can come here and immediately begin taking care of themselves with things like food and housing? That would be ridiculous. When they come here, they are a drain on our economy more than anything else. Illegal immigration isn’t an answer to our economic opportunities nor our problems, they are a stumbling block to our success. Legal immigration is not.

A Big Lie

The main difference between what Governor DeSantis is doing in moving illegal immigrants from Florida to places like Martha's Vineyard and what the Biden Administration has been doing in moving illegal immigrants around our country including around 70 flights of illegals into Florida, is that DeSantis is transparent whereas the Biden Administration has been moving migrants in the middle of the night.

It's disgusting that republican governors are being attacked for doing the very same thing democrats have been doing in moving illegal immigrants. It's just another example of the Left's horrific integrity.

And the Emmy Goes to...

The Woke Emmy's lost close to 30% of their viewership making the total decline over the last few years of around 11 million viewers. This is huge.

They've been warned again and again about using the event as a political platform with attacks on republicans while praising anything the democrats are doing. It made the event boring and infuriating if you're a republican.

My guess is that viewership will decline so much that they'll have to take the broadcast away from NBC and shift the program over to on-line viewers via Peacock. They are sinking their own show for liberal politics. I truly don't get it.

Justice Is Not Blind

Double standards are horrific and must stop whatever it takes. When reading the below ask yourself would the Trump children be treated the same.

A federal judge appointed by former President Barack Obama has denied a request for the public disclosure of records regarding Hunter Biden's gun that his girlfriend threw into a dumpster out of fears as to what he might do with it.

U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras on Tuesday ruled that the first son's privacy as a private citizen exceeded the value of releasing any such records to the public. Nothing is private when it comes to the Trump family, yet democrats continue to hide behind liberal judges. It's sickening!

Just the Tip of the Fauci Iceberg

If you only watch the mainstream media, this is yet another story out of many, that they've chosen not to cover. This is all breaking loose in a lawsuit where Fauci and the CDC are called out for providing social media outlets like Facebook, with fraudulent information to use to block posts that were counter to what the CDC was attempting to push. Basically, it is obvious they weren't pushing science and were giving these platforms propaganda instead. I can't blame FaceBook as I'm sure they thought they were getting legitimate information from the CDC.

A Facebook official testified that the CDC had helped the company to “debunk claims about COVID vaccines and children,” and asked for assistance addressing claims about the vaccines for babies and toddlers, including the claim that the vaccines weren’t effective.

I hope you've noticed that once democrats get their people in positions in the CIA, Department of Education, DOJ, FBI, IRS, etc., that they've now become corrupt organizations. You can't say this about republicans. This is where we're at as a country and it is both sad and scary.

A Dream Come True

The last item on my bucket list was achieved when I was nine years old and saw Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots under the Christmas tree. My older brother James learned early on that you can yank the head off the opposing fighter instead of waiting to land a good punch. He was efficient like that. 😁

Now That's Embarrassing

Could the "Green Energy Sector," get any worse optics than for a group of West Virginia coal miners pushing an electric vehicle that ran out of juice so they can get it charged at their facility? I'm waiting for AOC to speak up about the matter. Of course with democrats throwing out ethics I'm sure she'll just lie and say it never happened.
