What's wild is their sheep are running around not knowing what happened to them. Now people like OC are running around saying the world is going to come to an end in 12 years and that they'll save everyone if they'll send in donations. They'll fight the good fight for them. P.T. Barnum was right when he said there's a sucker born every day.
The one thing that some people don't think about in reference to the Democrats push for Russian collusion over the last few years, is that they used it effectively to collect donations for the DNC and various PAC's. Of course they wanted it to be true, but even if it wasn't, they fleeced their flock.
Benjamin Franklin Goodrich (B.F. Goodrich), began his tire company in 1870 in Akron, Ohio. They went on to become one of the largest tire providers in the world. But what a lot of people don't know is that they got out of the tire business in 1997, and went into the aerospace business and manufacturing plane parts like landing gears. In 2012, the United Technologies Corporation bought the Goodrich corporation for $18.4 billion dollars. When thinking about tire companies it's hard not to think about BF Goodrich so it is amazing that they got out of the business 22 years ago.
The story of the McDonald brothers in how they came up with the first fast-food concept is amazing and so is how Ray Kroc convinced them to franchise their operation which he took charge of while the brothers managed their original store in California. Here are some things you might not know about their extraordinary story:
1) Ray forced the two brothers out of their own company through taking control of so much of the operations that the McDonald's couldn't handle dealing with the company anymore as it had gotten so big. 2) He gave them $1.3 million dollars each to buy the company and he promised them that he'd give them a 1.5% royalty of all profits which he never did. The McDonald's weren't greedy businessmen and just accepted Kroc at his word. Based on the sales volume today, the McDonald's brothers' family would make over $110 million dollars a year off the royalties. 3) Ray fell in love with the wife of one of his franchise owners so he divorced his wife and she divorced her husband and they got married. His wife gave their $1.5 billion dollar fortune to charity. 4) The brothers were able to keep their restaurant but Ray demanded they take the name McDonald's off of it and he put in his own restaurant less than a mile away. The reason the McDonald's brothers wanted to keep the original restaurant is that they wanted to give it to their employees in thanks for their service. Ray's restaurant caused the closure of the original restaurant in three years. 5) McDonald's has around 36,000 locations and they're in 101 countries. They feed approximately 1% of the world's population each day. He's 70 years old and didn't start acting until he was in his 40's. But when he got started, he became one of the busiest actors in the business which is why he's also one of the wealthiest. The wild thing is he never had a major leading role but was a phenomenal co-star who was nominated and won many awards.
He grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and when he went to college at Moorehouse, he first planned on being a marine biologist then an architect, but he didn't like how much studying he had to do so he switched to drama and graduated. He went to New York City and made a living off performing in plays. He began struggling with drugs and alcohol and his wife who he had met in college, helped him beat the addictions. They've now been married for 39 years. If you haven't figured out who it is yet let me help you by listing a few of his movies: 1) Pulp Fiction 2) Patriot Games 3) Jurassic Park 4) A Time to Kill 5) Unbreakable and 6) Star Wars. This actor is one of my favorites, Samuel L. Jackson. I'm sure Democrats have realized now that they've opened Pandora's Box. The Mueller investigation has apparently found that ex-CIA Director Brennan, ex-FBI Director James Comey, AG Lynch, and President Obama, were all aware that Russians were meddling in the election all the way back to 2015.
What did they do about it? Did they begin conducting investigations? No, they did absolutely nothing. Why? In my opinion they didn't want any bumps in the road towards Hillary winning the election. It's going to be great watching Brennan, Comey, and Lynch testify in a hearing. Democrats, thanks for the Mueller investigation, now we can get to some real truth. There are some very simple, common sense, things that people like AOC don't want people to think about. Their ability to influence others revolves around people who are uneducated and/or don't want to think for themselves and naively accept things they want to believe in. I can mention many things but I'll leave it at these:
1) Very few middle to large cities can be powered by solar or wind. Not only is there not room to install such energy devices but they're not powerful enough. Could you imagine how large a wind turbine farm would need to be to power New York City? Same issue with solar power, it would take too many panels and too much space to handle large populations. Good luck finding legitimate research that shows how a dense population with limited land, can support these alternative energy sources. Power plants in general can only generate so much power so they only have so much reach; meaning the end-users need to be within the power grid. The first Edison plant served just 100 homes in NYC. This means that the land needed for wind or solar would need to be close to NYC and it would need to be massive. The best report I found supporting alternative energy, showed that it could handle only 10% of current energy consumption in New York City. Places like Los Angeles would be far worse because of how spread out the city is. The further away the alternative energy plants are located, the more difficult it is for them to generate enough power to meet demand. 2) Wind turbines of course require wind, which isn't always consistent especially in some places around our country. People are spoiled these days and aren't used to outages so not only would it negatively impact our conveniences, it can also be dangerous as well. Generators would become even more common and they won't be powered by wind or solar. Not only is there not enough wind in some areas around the country, many places in states like Ohio, don't have the level of solar energy necessary because they don't have as many sunny days as other parts of our country. There are some states that could do a decent job of getting by with wind and/or solar, but it's not a fix for our entire country. If you listen to some of these liberals, you wouldn't think this was the case. They're making promises they know they can't deliver on but they don't care; they will always be able to blame other people for it not coming to fruition. Votes are always about the here and now. The bottom line is that alternate energy sources are important to continue to develop, but for these politicians to make it sound like we can get away from nuclear power, oil, and gas, are lying. To say that we can make it happen in just ten years is crazy and so are the people who believe it. As to be expected, the Mueller report was released to the United States Attorney General, William Barr, and all hell is breaking loose with Democrats and supported with stories by the mainstream media.
First, they played the game of demanding that President Trump release the full report. This is a blatant lie as Trump isn't the person with the authority to release the report, it's up to the A.G. They knew that just demanding it, would benefit them politically. Then they threw out that Barr won't release the full report because he's protecting Trump. They know full well that Barr can't release everything as some of the information is classified because it involves Russia, so it involves current operatives of the CIA. They also know that uneducated people will think that Barr can release the entire report so they can get away with making the claim that Barr is providing Trump with cover. All they need is for Barr to redact just one page of the report and Democrats and the media will say that it's a coverup. It's the game they play. Next, they'll have hearings bringing in everyone they can including Barr and Mueller to try and trip them up. They're already having and planning meetings that involve everything the CIA, FBI, and DOJ have already investigated regarding Russian collusion. How in the world can members of the House and Senate do a better job of investigating than trained professionals? They've got five minutes each to ask questions and if you've watched hearings before, you know they ask very few questions but instead use their time making political speeches to secure or further their careers. It's how these politicians roll. No substance. No actually solving problems. No addressing of actual needs of U.S. citizens. Just politics as usual. Democrats had their Plan B as soon as they realized the report would come back in Trump's favor. As with Hillary, they thought for sure they knew what would happen and it went terribly awry for them. We've got a horrendous period ahead of us where Democrats will be in an even more outrageous fury to bring Trump down. Republicans have too many positives going for them in reference to accomplishments, especially our economic boom, so Democrats know they need to throw a Hail Mary. If anyone thought they could finally enjoy some peace and quiet because the investigation would finally be over, they're sorely mistaken. If you think that unethical behavior in D.C. couldn't get any worse, get ready to have your mind blown. When were electric kitchen appliances invented?

While he was away at church camp his mother ran away. She’d contact him on occasion, and he tried to live with her once when he was in junior high, but she had once again chosen a bad man and Bart had to leave and go back to his dad. When his father drove to his ex-wife's house to pick up Bart, he beat up the man she was living with because he was hurting her; quite the irony.
His father was an angry, washed-up college football star, who had hopes of playing in the NFL, and he always pushed Bart into football as well. Bart had the size but didn’t have the interest, but he played football anyway to please his dad. Music was his only passion and he would earn money doing yardwork and then take the money to a music store to buy cassettes. He had his headset on everywhere he went. One day while at football practice, his leg was injured, and he could no longer play football. His dad was livid. Practice took place during school hours, so he had to find another class to take and the only one open was choir. Bart was horrified. His father was a “man’s man” and he didn’t want to tell him he was in choir. He showed up for class in a wheelchair and told the instructor he couldn’t sing or dance, so they made him the sound engineer to where he could play the music during performances. His father passed away during his freshman year in college, so he dropped out and took a job handling the multi-media and sound equipment at the church he belonged to. The choir director heard Bart singing one day while he was working on the sound equipment and she was in shock; he was amazing. A couple of guys in his church who were in a band, talked Bart into being their lead singer and moving to Oklahoma City to see if they could find work as a Christian/Rock group. They didn’t have a name for the group and when Bart told his grandma what they were going to do she said: “Mercy me.” Which became the unusual name of the group. They started off slowly trying to play anyplace that would allow them. Eventually they began getting traction and could fill up small venues; they even had some followers. Then one day a manager in the music business heard them and he thought they were great but that they needed a little refining. He told them they needed to sing more of their own music and not other peoples'. He wanted the crowds to feel something on a more spiritual level (praise and worship), and not just hear great music. He waited until he thought the group was ready and then got some record label executives to listen to them, but they didn’t think the group had what it took to sell enough records. Part of it was that Bart was a big guy and didn't have the looks/vibe of a lead singer. They were heartbroken but decided to keep at it. Then one day Bart wrote a song for his father that everyone knew would be a huge hit. The song (and now movie), is called: “I Can Only Imagine.” Their manager also thought it had the potential to reach number one on the music charts but the problem was that no one knew the group Mercy Me, so very few people would hear it. So, Bart and the manager decided to see if Amy Grant would be willing to buy the song from them so she could perform and record it. She loved the song and listened to it repeatedly. She was moved by why Bart wrote the song for his father who he had reconciled with before he died. His father had asked God for forgiveness of his many sins, including what he did to his family, and was really turning his life around before he died of kidney failure. When Amy was performing a large concert, she was getting ready to sing “I Can Only Imagine,” which no one had ever heard before (she was going to record it later), but something was bothering her about it. Out of the blue, she called Bart out of the audience and asked him to come on stage. He was in shock. She whispered to him that it was his song; his message from God and then she introduced Bart to the crowd and had him sing the song. The crowd went wild and gave him a standing ovation. This became the real start of Mercy Me. Amy Grant gave them back the rights to the song so the band could record it and it went to number one on the Christian music charts but was such a great song that radio stations of other genres ended up playing it as well because fans of the song were asking for it. They went on to win several awards and become a huge concert success. If you go to You Tube and type in the bands name, I guarantee you that you'll absolutely love the song. Do you remember when I mentioned Bart going to a church camp when he was around ten? He met a girl there who he ended up marrying and they live in the town he grew up in with five children. Would you seek the advice of a young person maybe between 18 and 22 years old about your personal life? If you owned a business would you seek their advice on how to run it? Do you think they're qualified to provide advice on how to run our country?
Most young people are idealistic. They don't understand the real world and the sacrifices you have to make. They don't understand how hard Uncle Sam hits us in the pocket book not to mention all the other taxes we pay for everything else. Of course they'll go with anything that sounds good like free stuff...I wouldn't expect otherwise. So they are a built-in voting block for the Democrat Party because of their ideology which is one of naivety not responsibility. Now what's even worse, is that some of the people in the Democratic Party on the campaign trail are pushing to lower the voting age to 16. This alone would guarantee our country would never have a balance of power. Add to this that Democrats are trying to get rid of the Electoral College, and Republicans might as well hang it up and watch the Democrat Party run our country into extinction. It's sad. |
