Sometimes thinking about doing something ends up being much more enjoyable than actually doing the something.
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, said late on Saturday that SpaceX’s Starlink satellite broadband service was now available in Ukraine with more technology infrastructure on its way. This wilI help Ukraine stay connected with the rest of the world when Russia inevitably attempts to knock out their means of communications.
Way to go Elon! I can't imagine that Putin isn't getting very nervous because of the following:
1) Terrible news when citizens start taking up arms. They won't go quietly into the night, and they'll be difficult to manage even if Russia takes over the country. 2) Their system of currency, the Ruble, is plummeting thus enraging many Russian citizens. 3) Thousands of brave people were on the streets in Moscow protesting what Putin is doing. These people can get up to 20 years in a terrible prison, for speaking out against their government. Could you imagine living in a place like this? I would like to think I'm as brave as these protestors but I'm not sure if I'd risk the 20 years in prison. 4) Huge protests are taking place around the world and Russia gets weaker with each one because some of these governments are trying to figure out how to make their constituents happy. Countries who normally wouldn't donate money to a cause outside of their own country, are sending funds and supplies to help the Ukrainian citizens. There's no way that a man like Putin thought that so many people would get behind Ukraine. 5) The internet is killing Putin. He's tried to shut down Russia's wide area network, so his citizens won't know what their country is doing, but it's just too hard to accomplish at this point. Working with the internet is a way of life for many including many businesses in Russia. Anyhow, the above are just some of the reasons Putin is probably getting worried especially about what he'll be able to do in Ukraine when the citizens don't support him. The Census Bureau released their annual report on which states were gaining or losing the most citizens and of the top ten biggest gainers, eight were red states. Texas and Florida were first and second, followed by Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Utah, and Tennessee. The five states with the highest rate of exiting citizens are New Jersey, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, and California.
I certainly don't mind people moving around as long as they don't come here and vote blue. This is shockingly an issue. People run from democrat policies, especially outrageous taxation, and then they turn around and vote blue in the state they move to; it's a strange and insane phenomenon and one that I wish would cease to exist. On reaching his seat on the plane, a man is surprised to see a parrot strapped into the seat next to him. The man asks the flight attendant for a cup of coffee and the parrot squawks, “And why don’t you get me a whisky, wench!”
Flustered by the parrot’s outburst, she brings back a whisky for the parrot but forgets the man’s cup of coffee. As the man nicely points out the omission of his coffee to the flight attendant, the parrot downs his drink and shouts, “And get me another whisky, you ugly bitch!” Visibly shaken, she came back with the parrot’s whisky but still no coffee for the man. Unaccustomed to such slackness, the man decides that he is going to try the parrot's approach, “I’ve asked you twice for a cup of coffee you wench, I expect you to get it for me right now, so I don’t have to see that disgustingly hideous face of yours anymore!” Next thing they know, both the man and the parrot are yanked up and thrown out of the emergency exit by two burly passengers and the flight attendants. The parrot flew alongside the man who was plunging to the ground and before flying off leaned over and said: “For someone who can’t fly, you sure are a lippy bastard.” With Galileo having invented a telescope in 1608, I wondered when the first rifle was mounted with a scope. It took more than 200 years, for a scope to show up. Why did it take so long?
Well, after exhaustive research, I found there was no need for a rifle scope until a rifle could shoot far enough to need one, which was around 1860, right before the Civil War. Okay, I admit, it took me about 30 seconds to research this great mystery. You're welcome. 😉 The Biden Administration has entered into a six-month contract worth $86 million to house 1,200 migrant family members near the Southwest border in Texas and Arizona. That works out to around $72,000 per immigrant; of course, paid for by our tax dollars.
By the way, I checked, and no other countries offer people who are trying to enter their country illegally, room and board (plus medical). They don't pay for their surgeries (we've paid for a ton). I'm sure some democrats will find this strange but apparently most countries aren't as accommodating as the U.S. We have more immigrants than anyplace else. We have more requests than any other country for people to move here. Minorities who are flooding in I guess don't believe what they're hearing from the Democratic Party. Just how bad of a country can we be if we are the preferred destination of people all around the world? Why do so many democrats trash our country as if we're racist? So, $71,666.67 divided by six months equals $392.69 per person per night. One night at most hotels is around $141 (national average), and it includes a free breakfast, refrigerator, and microwave. There's no doubt in my mind that this will become a huge scandal. Time and time again, democrats are refusing transparency into the money trails of their socialists' policies. Why don't they think taxpayers should have this knowledge? Quite frankly, this is the reason the left pushes so hard for so many "special," programs, because everywhere down the line, some politicians along with their family and friends are getting a cut. When programs are sponsored, people with little to no experience, get plush jobs (like Hunter Biden). Chelsea Clinton made over $100,000 right out of college. Is she that extraordinary? Then the people who are qualified and care about the work they do, often leave these organizations because of their lack of respect for those who were given their positions, don't know what they're doing, and causing everyone around them much more work. We're broke. Our country is run by people who have burned through our cash and have to borrow and print money to keep our country afloat. What will happen when other countries no longer believe we are a good investment? Government spending is burying us. I hope that years from now when people are studying the history of the U.S., that they'll realize the idea of a Republic was a great one and should be duplicated because it wasn't the system that couldn't sustain and wasn't effective, it was the people who we allowed to run our country. BTW: The hotels are just stopping places for illegals while democrats secretly find places to send them throughout the U.S. Let me ask you something. Do you think that it's legal to send non-citizens who we know little to nothing about, into someone's state without getting the state's approval? Actually, without letting the states know at all and sending people in during the middle of the night? People have been killed by illegal immigrants that the Federal Government placed into various communities. I have it on very good authority that the mainstream and social media is on the same page with democrats and are filtering negative news about immigrants. It is truly sickening. I'm still seeing a therapist over the hairstyle mom and dad made me run around with; I'm on the far right of course. Do you realize how long it took for me to get my street creds back?! 😎
Love you DurRinda, RaDonna, and James (we were all born around three years apart). You're still beautiful inside and out. Man did God bless me with a wonderful family. |
