President Biden continued his: "Truth be Damned Tour!" on Thursday while bragging about gas prices under his watch. He incorrectly claimed (a.k.a. lied) that gas was higher when he took office than it is now. Biden stated that "We're down $1.25 a gallon since the peak this summer, and they've been falling for the last three weeks as well, adding up to real savings for families today," Biden added: "The most common price of gas in America is $3.39 down from over $5 when I took office." This is of course a complete lie as gas prices when he took office were around $2.39 a gallon. I think we've clearly reached the point where the truth and President Biden will no longer be seen together.
A little something liberals leave out. If you review the number of illegals flooding our border, you'll see that at a minimum it's an 80-20 rule with young Hispanic males comprising the largest groups. If they're here to seek asylum, basically escape from their countries where they were being mistreated, then why did they leave the children and women behind? If conditions are bad where they came from, why didn't they stay while the other family members ran for help?
They aren't flooding our borders for protection, their flooding our borders for greater financial opportunities. This isn't what asylum is for. We're being taken advantage of, and liberals are perfectly fine with it because they're trying to get non-citizens to vote in local elections and then they'll move to state and federal elections. Democrats see the onslaught of illegal immigration to serve a purpose for their party through increasing the size of their voter base. They do this and get rid of the Electoral College and republicans will never win another critical election. The Eagles weren't originally seen as a potential hit group because their blues/country/rock music style was unusual for the times since classic rock and the British Invasion ruled the charts. Amos records took a chance on them including recommending a few music artists to join their group.
I believe the reasons they were so successful had to do with four things: 1) They had several band members who could write chart breaking songs. 2) Pretty much all the band members could sing lead which gave the band different sounds, so it wasn't monotonous to listen to them (i.e., New Kid in Town, Hotel California, Life's Been Good to Me). All of these hit songs were sung by different members in the band. 3) Joe Walsh. Not only could he sing and play a variety of instruments (he's mind blowing on electric guitar), he's also a great stage performer, very entertaining to watch. 4) The group's harmonies were almost as rare as The Beach Boys. After more than 40 years they're still performing, which I find amazing. Here's to The Eagles, one of the greatest bands in our lifetime. When Biden was being asked questions about the problems we're facing, he turned it around and asked the reporter: "Where have the republicans been?" Meaning, that republicans are doing a lot of complaining but not providing solutions.
So here we go, Uncle Joe is blatantly lying again. First of all, republicans do have a plan and that is to stop the crazy things democrats have put into place and to go back to some Trump Administration policies. That's the plan. The other thing that is very clear about what Biden said is that I'm sure he does question where republicans have gone, shoot he doesn't even know where he is how could he know where anyone else is? I just saw a very credible report which stated that 11% of voters are okay with allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections. I say we do a "Go Fund Me," to fly them out of our country never to return. The bottom line is these people are too stupid to be Americans.
There are two states that I've visited that seem nothing like any other state in our Union and they are Alaska and Hawaii. The thing about Alaska is that it's so wild. If you're not on the coast visiting some of their tourist locations, then you're probably in the middle of nowhere. A lot of salmon and a lot of bears.
If we need emergency responders, they’re generally at the scene in less than 10 minutes which I find amazing. I was listening to a native Alaskan talk about her best friend and roommate who had gone missing. She said she didn’t really know who to call because they have no police in their town. She ended up calling a police station that was in another town (Nome, Alaska) and around 45 minutes away. The police there called for state support. The investigator they interviewed said something that really hit me. He said that most people know your best chance to solve a crime occurs withing the first 48 hours but unfortunately their response time is around 36 hours when someone around the state needs their help for a major crime. I take for granted how well protected I am from various hardships. Yet another blessing, out of thousands, that I usually forget to count. Alaska has a terrible record of solving missing persons crimes so as a percentage more people living there don’t get closure when their loved one goes missing or is found dead. I don’t think I’d take it too well. Picture of Nome, Alaska The National Hockey League is too white, and its Black diversity executive vows to change that. An internal report on the racial makeup of the 32 teams that comprise the NHL found 83.6% of the league's players are white and allegedly many African Americans are upset by this. I don’t think it’s true that they’re upset, but it’s the narrative they’re pushing.
What’s interesting is how they’re using double standards. They’re saying there are too many whites in hockey when the 83.6% white representation in the league is only around 15% higher than the percentage of the U.S. population which is white. Using their same mentality then aren’t there way too many African Americans in sports like basketball and football? They only make up around 13% of the U.S. population but comprise close to 80% of the professional athletes in the two sports I mentioned above. So, they’re okay with using the data when it helps them out, but they don’t want to use the same formula when addressing how under-represented whites are in some sports. Different rules being applied to different races negatively impacts race relations regardless of which race might benefit. I don’t want things like race and sexual orientation to be factors in anything especially in professional sports. I want the best players regardless of personal characteristics. I truly wouldn’t put it past some of those in the Far Left to pursue having LGBTQ representation on each professional team. They’ll want gay coaches. I’m just sick and tired of identity politics and being a fan of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I’m appalled that they do nothing to honor his dream. So why are there so few African Americans playing hockey? Are they being systemically discriminated against? The answer is no, and it's easy to prove. First of all, the colder the temperatures the more hockey fans there are. Colder locations like the northeast and states like Montana and Michigan, have a far larger white population than warmer states where most African Americans live. If they're not around the sport, how can they get good at it and play in the NHL? Then there's the costs factor. Hockey is expensive. Uniforms and gear can easily go over $1,000. Hockey arenas are few and far between so if your high schooler plays, you'll need to spend quite a bit of money on travel (i.e., food, gas, hotel, etc.). So, it not only isn't the average sport for an African American, it's also not a typical sport for poor, white, people either. The bottom line is this issue in the NHL has absolutely nothing to do with race, but the race baiters don't care and when you start giving them actual data or throw a little common sense and logic their way to negate their views, you're called a racist. It's sickening. In a Hail Mary attempt to stop gas prices from going through the roof again right before the election, the Biden Administration has decided to tap into 15 million barrels of our oil reserves. Reference the picture below and think about the challenges and expense of moving that many barrels around. By the way, the tens of thousands of fuel trucks helping to move oil around the country will leave a huge carbon footprint. Here are some other things to think about:
First, the amount Biden is going to release is a small fraction of the reserves that we have but it is a bit nerve racking in that we have so many potential military conflicts with China, Iran, and Russia. One of the main reasons for our oil reserves is so we aren't shut down during a time of war. It’s supposed to be for emergencies. I can get over them screwing up on this one but what’s scary is they don’t seem to recognize their failed policies when it comes to their aggressive, non-sensical, green energy initiatives. Common sense has been long gone from the Democratic Party. Something democrats will definitely stay away from is the fact that we built our reserves during times of good oil prices, so when Biden brings in more oil to rebuild the mandatory reserve quantities that he’s sending out, it’s going to costs taxpayers over $600 million more dollars for the same product we were already stocking. I believe heads would roll in the private sector if an organization mismanaged $600 million dollars and lost it never to be recovered again. But no problem in the public sector, they just take more taxpayer money to bail them out of their issues and mismanage all of it again. Democrats continue to lie about not hurting the oil trade with their policies. U.S. oil companies aren't producing less oil so they can jack up the prices, that would be ridiculous. The Biden Administration went as far as opening some land for oil exploration so he could boast about his energy policies since he was getting a lot of heat, but the oil companies have come back to say not a single sight is known to be a good source for oil exploration. They would lose money going through the expensive process of drilling for oil in areas they know make no sense. This is just a way for democrats to act like they're trying to help by saying they’ve created all these new drilling opportunities when it’s a scam. Are you surprised? By the way, The Wall Street Journal reported that Biden's leasing of federal property for oil drilling is down 98% from what President Obama was doing. Each barrel of oil goes to a refinery to make various products from the crude oil. A lot of people think it’s just for gasoline when 47% of a barrel is processed into gasoline, diesel fuel and heating oil make up around 23% of a barrel’s byproducts, 10% is for jet fuel, and the rest of the products include asphalt, crayons, plastics, etc. Do you see electric planes in our future, or do you think oil is going to be extremely important for years to come? I generally watch at least part of the Whitehouse Press Conference each day and every day they lie numerous times about what’s going on. Even many mainstream media reporters are getting frustrated by the lack of transparency and horrific number of mistruths (political word for lying), being told each day by the Biden Administration. And what can they do about how bad the new White House Press Secretary is doing when she was given the job because she’s an African American woman who is also a lesbian? Instead of doing the right thing and firing her, they’ll bend to pressure from the Left not to fire her because of the color of her skin and her sexual orientation. See the irony? She’s still fulfilling her primary role of working for Biden in that she’s still black and she’s still a lesbian. The problem is that she was never vetted as to whether she had the skills necessary for the job, and I promise you, she does not. Some terrible news for democrats even though they're acting like they're not scared. These are the top five issues among voters: 1) High prices 2) High crime rates 3) Division among citizens 4) Foreign relations (Russia/Ukraine) and 5) School curriculums.
The reason I mention that it's terrible news for Dems is that all of these areas, even though they try to not own them, are considered by most Americans, democrats and republicans alike, to be the cause of liberal policies. I'm not saying that democrats will go to the polls and vote republican, but I am saying that I believe that voter turnout for the Democratic Party will be horrific. At least that's what I'm hoping! |
