After absolutely embarrassing herself at a press conference when pushed as to why she is against restricting stock trades among members of Congress, both sides of the House will soon have bi-partisan legislation that goes against what Pelosi has been trying to do. Why not, she and her husband have become multi-millionaires in the market. By the way, the legislation would restrict any member of the House to trade stocks in any industry which they have personal influence over. Is that too much to ask?
Almost all the polling I've seen shows that more than 70% of Americans consider it a form of reverse racism for President Biden to say he's only accepting applications from female African Americans for the next Supreme Court Justice slot.
What I can't say for sure is how accurate the polls are and whether they captured enough democrats and republicans to get a credible figure. This is why I average several polls and hope that it will give me directional insight. In this case, it even showed many democrats being upset with what Biden is doing with the Supreme Court nominees. All other races other than African Americans, need not apply and even if you're extraordinary African American male, who would be great on the Supreme Court, you need not apply either. The great, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., would be so upset that democrats are destroying his dream. Are there qualified candidates who are female and African American? Of course, but this is too important a position to not review the best candidates regardless of gender, race, and sexual orientation. This is common sense and is what the core of the Civil Rights Act was about. Making way for equal opportunities, not providing equal outcomes. Taking away college scholarships from deserving Asian Americans and giving them to African Americans is horrific. And so is taking away the opportunity from people who have worked so hard to someday make it into the Supreme Court, just because of their gender and the color of their skin. Disgusting and sad all at the same time. When The New York Times, writes an article about the Democratic Party's "dark," fundraising, that's got to begin making democrats really nervous. They thought the media would have their backs no matter what, but they began pushing the envelope so far, that not even some of the mainstream media is willing to provide them with cover especially since they've been called out time and time again for fake news.
This is an excerpt from the article: "A single, cryptically named entity that has served as a clearinghouse of undisclosed cash for the left, the Sixteen Thirty Fund, received mystery donations as large as $50 million and disseminated grants to more than 200 groups, while spending a total of $410 million in 2020 — more than the Democratic National Committee itself." There's no doubt when it comes to fundraising, that both parties are unethical (both have dark money access), but as usual, democrats take it to all new heights in corruption. But just the fact that we can't get our legislators on both sides of the aisle to pass aggressive campaign finance reforms, tells us all we need to know about whether they put country over politics or vice-versa. Spoiler alert, it's vice-versa. It's difficult remembering who we once were back in high school, at least for me it is. I admit though that I might be intentionally blocking some of it out. But I certainly didn't know how naive I was about the world until I got out into it.
My parents telling me what I should do came out as clear as the words from any adult in a Charlie Brown movie. I've never read a book on parenting because Maggie and I couldn't have any children due to her spine problems, but it's got to be one of the most difficult things trying to convey messages so important about things like your child's safety and the importance of a good education to a teenager who just can't seem to allow the message to get through. And it's not like they're stupid, it's just that common sense and logic aren't quite developed until someone reaches the age of 25 or a bit later. Wouldn't it be great if it kicked in at the age of 13? 😉 Here's a shout out to all parents who have successfully gotten their children through the teenage years without committing Hari Kari. Believe me, you are heroes to me. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce expressed that they'd like for President Biden to stop demonizing businesses in stating they're gouging consumers and causing the supply chain problems. Their simple solution is for the Biden Administration to prove that prices are going up because companies are trying to make greater profits and that it's not due to his policies such as an energy policy that is killing the transportation industry with rising fuel prices. Of course the Biden Administration isn't up for the challenge of proving they're the ones not lying.
Everything is about division when it comes to the Democratic Party. Pitting taxpayers against one another and corporations is not a sign of leadership. Biden said he'd bring us together and yet has chosen to divide us at every turn beginning with his day one in office. Kind of begs the question as to whether or not democrats truly want our country to prosper; sometimes I wonder. When Dr. Anthony Fauci leaves his position as the White House chief medical adviser, he'll walk away with a golden parachute worth up to $350,000 per year — the largest federal retirement package ever, according to a report by Forbes.
Fauci, has worked for the government for 55 years and was paid $434,312 in 2020, making him the highest-compensated federal employee. Our president makes $400,000 a year and most members of the House and Senate make around $175,000 a year. Pelosi makes the most out of any of the legislators with a salary of $223,500. By the way, Fauci, the servant of the people, also became a multi-millionaire, many times over while being a "public servant." Just how exactly did that happen? Follow the money trail. The power that he's had to hand out hundreds of millions of dollars in grant money seems to have benefited him financially. Just a little something that republicans will want to know more about when they take over the House and Senate. Isn't it interesting that the same people who say it's racist to bring up a criminal's past (like George Floyd), are the same ones holding whites responsible for our country's past when we weren't even there?
Speaking of George Floyd. I don't think I'll ever get over some members of the African American community treating him like a hero. It was sickening. Why in the world did they honor a man who was responsible for victimizing their own citizens? He left Houston not on good terms, promising to make it a fresh start in Minneapolis. He didn't and his family knew this. He quickly began victimizing his new African American community. You know what would've saved his life that day? First and foremost, if he didn't commit a crime that an African American called 911 over, he wouldn't have had an interaction with the police. 2) Swallowing drugs in front of the police requires they get hands on and not allow the suspect to get rid of evidence. 3) He aggressively resisted arrest. 4) He refused to get in the squad car. Everything was about the officer involved and the African American community tried to shut down any voices regarding the things Floyd did to cause his own death. Instead, they gave him funerals which rivaled Dr. Martin Luther King., Jr.'s. It was sickening to watch and why at this point, there's not a chance I'll ever relate to certain members of the African American community. I don't respect any of their heroes who victimize others. Call me old fashioned. Instead of moving on again to a new social media platform, why don't we go O.G.? How about getting back to bonfires, campfires, hayrides, tailgate parties, night fishing, porch setting, talking with neighbors, and/or cruising with the radio playing? Who's with me?! 😎
As I'm sure everyone is aware, Baltimore has been in a terrible decline for years. They are always listed as one of the most dangerous cities in the country. Based on what I'm hearing from leaders in the city, whites are a big reason why the people there are struggling, even though whites of course didn't want the police defunded. Maybe the problem isn't white people. Let's take a look at some numbers:
1) Their population is 68% black. 2) Their fire department is 58% black. 3) Their teachers and school administration are 82% black. 4) Their city council is 90% black. 5) Their mayor is black. 6) Their chief of police is black. 7) More than half of their population is on government handouts. So how exactly have whites negatively impacted their lives? How come minorities fair better in cities that are run by republicans? How was the Trump Administration able to increase jobs and wages for minorities more so than any other president before him? They've got some explaining to do because the facts absolutely don't support their anti-white narrative. |
