Just the fact that some people are considering defunding the police, is so mind-blowing that it's scary. What I'd like to know, from a civilizational perspective, can laws realistically exist if there is no law enforcement? Where is the proof that doing away with law enforcement or drastically reducing their budgets, reduces crimes? It doesn't exist.
I'm not saying I'd do it, but if I were struggling financially and I knew the police weren't around to catch me shoplifting or that even if I were caught, the store owners couldn't call 911, the police would no longer be a deterrent. Does having a police presence reduce crimes? Yes! This has been proven for thousands of years.
Have you noticed a trend? Democrats and the mainstream media aren't even willing to concede what should be uncontested. Does having two few or too many, police officers impact arrests and convictions? Of course! But this absolute truth means nothing to liberals pushing their anti-police narrative.
It has gotten so far out of control and I refuse to let go of the dreams of our forefathers and I'm going to go on the offensive like never before to impact the November elections. The young people coming up behind us, even if some don't know any better as to how the world operates, deserve to live the American dream. Let's fight the good fight!
