The First Rifle Scope

With Galileo having invented a telescope in 1608, I wondered when the first rifle was mounted with a scope. It took more than 200 years, for a scope to show up. Why did it take so long?

Well, after exhaustive research, I found there was no need for a rifle scope until a rifle could shoot far enough to need one, which was around 1860, right before the Civil War.

Okay, I admit, it took me about 30 seconds to research this great mystery. You're welcome. 😉

Big Little Liars

Based on the constant liberal spin during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, can you even imagine if we didn't have the ability to watch the trial and judge things for ourselves? They would've lied to us, and Kyle would've had his life ruined because of it. Why? Why are so many on the left willing to ruin peoples' lives over lies? What kind of integrity (if at all), do they have?

This isn't a one-off event; they've done it again and again and again. The question at this point is has the liberal media ever gotten anything right regarding any of these alleged big stories? Not a good track record, that's for sure.

Let me have a single, brain-storming session of my own. Okay, let's see, they were pursuing and peddling influence. And if I remember correctly, influence leads to power. I know there's something else. Oh, it just hit me, influence and power lead to wealth. Surely, they aren't this deplorable.

It may not be news to you, but I just found out about AOC's visit to Miami. So, even though she's torn Florida residents apart over a variety of issues, with specific attacks on DeSantis, her true colors come out.

She was caught wining and dining without a mask. Of course she was having a grand-ole time thanks to taxpayers. Most of her constituents don't have the time or money, to fly to Florida, but being an elitist, she does.

Governor DeSantis sent a Tweet stating he hopes she enjoyed the freedoms of the state of Florida since she could never do in New York City, what she was doing in Miami, and anyplace else down here for that matter.

I'd like to think she was embarrassed by DeSantis' tweet, but she has shown a very high tolerance for shame. She might have been who Garth Brooks wrote about in his song: "Shameless." Just a wild guess on my part. 😁

BTW: Oddly enough, the mainstream media isn't covering her scandal.

Can You Handle the Truth?

These are ten documented truths no liberal democrat will say out loud:

1) Our amazing Republic was built by a bunch of old, white, men.

2) Our economy prospered not because of solely slave labor, but production capabilities in general. Cotton and tobacco were important crops, but it was small farming operations, skilled labor, and intelligent merchants, who brought their products and/or services to the market. Claiming our country was built upon the backs of slaves, just isn't true. I know many of them want it to be true. Many of them have been told its true by community activists. But, it's not.

3) The framers of our U.S. Constitution directed tax revenues to Christian colleges like Harvard, which was established for the sake of educating the clergy and raising up a Christian academic institution to meet the needs of perpetuating the Christian faith. Makes since why liberals don't want this word out. Through their actions, our forefathers demonstrated they didn't want a national religion, like the Church of England, but were in full support of a growing religious population. The separation of Church and State only had to do with not allowing there to be a national religion. Period.

4) Border walls work.

5) Border walls aren't racist.

6) Police departments and good patrol coverage are known to be fantastic deterrents to crime.

7) The most dangerous group of people to the African American community, are African Americans. White people aren't systemically assaulting, murdering, raping. stealing, etc., from or to black people in their own communities. So why are whites being demonized? Why are the police being demonized? It truly makes no sense.

8) The U.S. can't impact the rest of the world in a significant way from an environmental perspective, because in the greater scheme of things, we're a small piece of it. We make up less than 5% of the world's population. Approaching it from a business perspective, is definitely the way to go, anything else would be just throwing money away like with Solyndra. I'm still waiting to find out where all those billions ran off to. I believe some of it found homes in some offshore accounts that only certain members of the Obama Administration know the password to. Just an educated guess on my part. 😉

9) The rich are paying their fair share based on the tax codes both political parties have made law. If they weren't, you can bet the IRS would be all over it. The fact is, every time democrats claim the rich aren't paying their fair share, they're telling a horrific lie that hurts our country. They are the Party of Division.

10) The U.S. is arguably the greatest country in the world in serving immigration and thus we are the most diverse in the world. A simple truth which democrats can't seem to grasp. Or don't want to grasp. You decide.

Corruption at the Very Top of the DOJ

On Wednesday, September 29th, the White House received a letter from the National School Board Association making up claims of violence (which were found to be untrue), against school boards across the country. They were apparently scared to death. Why? No one knows. Their letter to the White House had no specific crimes mentioned besides the fact that most parents were challenging the school board for mandating CRT training in schools.

By Friday, the U.S. Attorney General Garland, drafted a memo which was finalized and sent out that Monday to the FBI, telling them to get engaged in school board meetings. When have you ever known the federal government to move that quickly? It happened at lighting speed. Why is this? Well, now most people in the know, knows, but it isn't the kind of transparency democrats want so the story has been relatively buried.

The letter drafted by the FBI, based on Garland's direction, provided law enforcement at all levels with 13 different crimes they could arrest the parents for including, are you ready for this, multiple phone calls to members of the board. Not threatening phone calls, just legitimately irate parents worried about their children's education. The FBI went fishing for names, provided to them by local school boards, so they could try to find potential crimes. In legal terms, this is a form of: "Fruit from a poisonous tree," which is illegal in our court system.

Could you imagine if the FBI did this to you or me? Arrest us with no probable cause and then build a case on anything they find even though it has nothing to do with the original, non-legitimate, complaint. This is the country many democrats want. I do not.

Before I go into the “why,” behind Garland’s actions (Garland and Biden are cut from the same cloth), let me cover how he got burned in a recent Senate Hearing by Ted Cruz. Ted asked him if he or any of his staff investigated the claims by the National School Board before condemning parents? They did not. They did nothing to vet whether or not it was true before Garland sent the FBI to shut down free speech. This is a huge issue, and they didn't follow FBI protocol. Sounds like the same due diligence, or lack thereof, that the FBI gave the Dirty Dossier.

Does this make any sense to you? Why wouldn’t the highest law enforcement officer in the nation figure out what’s going on before firing off a memo stating: “guilty until proven innocent?” And what’s even more shocking is that he refuses to recant the memo even though the National School Board Association apologized for their misleading statements and pulled back their memo.

This is the moment Ted threw down the gauntlet. He asked if Garland’s son-in-law would benefit from Critical Race Theory being taught in public schools. It’s what his company does. Garland refused to answer but pretty much everyone knew the answer to that one. And yes, it would be worth millions to his son-in-law. He asked him if he sought advice regarding potential ethics’ violations before sending the memo out to which he avoided answering yet again. No doubt he was used to being on the opposite side of the hot seat.

I say this a lot. This is the most corrupt Administration in U.S. history and it’s not even close to the usual corruption we get from both political parties. Think about it, Hunter Biden has so far gotten away with receiving a one-million-dollar diamond from Communists officials in China to which he didn’t report it to customs, and he didn’t report it to the IRS. If this, were you or I, we’d already be in prison and all of our assets would be frozen, leaving our families in peril. The double standards by the Democratic Party are so sickening.

After you watch it, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll agree with me that he should be immediately removed, at the very least, because of his incompetence. Man am I glad republicans stopped him from getting on the Supreme Court. It would've been embarrassing and dangerous.

The video below of the hearing I mentioned above, is a must watch for concerned citizens. It should scare the bejesus out of everyone who loves our country. It's not just what he said but also the questions he refused to answer, that is really scary.

Someday they'll be a movie about Steve Martin and when people find out about his background, they'll be shocked. He is an extreme intellectual, but he plays it down. He's won Grammy's that a lot of people don't know about because of his Blue Grass genre. He can play a variety of instruments. Anyhow, when he came up with the song King Tut in 1978 and for four months it was on Billboard's Top 100, peaking at 17, I was hooked on Steve. Almost more so than I was hooked on phonics. 😉

Will Inflation Get Worse?

I'm not an economist, but I play one on my blog. Inflation, which is rising costs without offsetting wage increases to keep everyone afloat, is through the roof. Will it get better anytime soon based on Biden policies? The answer is...no! There's no end in sight at this point.

What do you think happens when there aren't enough employees to keep a business afloat? They begin offering higher wages to convince people to work for them versus someone else. And do you think that a company will eat their profits due to this added expenditure? Most of them, regardless of what democrats say, run off of pretty thin margins because of competition. Add to this all the supplies they use to manufacture their goods or basically to run their companies in general, will have gone up, as they are now. Many retailers have boosted security. Will they eat these costs?

So, the answer is no, they'll increase the costs for their goods and/or services. Because the costs will be higher across the board, as it's growing now, it won't matter if an employee is making $2 more per hour, at this point, they'd still be going backwards in discretionary income.

So, does anyone win here? I can tell you there's one entity that will be bringing in more revenues and that's the government at all levels. The higher the costs, the more tax revenues they make and the more our legislators can spend to buy votes. When personal property is valued much higher, your city and county make out with higher personal property tax revenues.

It's short-sighted because sales won't sustain when retails continue to jump. People won't be able to afford some of the things they were paying for in the past which will inevitably lead to less tax revenues, but no one ever said, well besides democrats, that they ever have a good long-term strategy regarding pretty much any topic.

Flat Earthers

The CDC and HHS for some strange reason, aren't using critical studies regarding COVID. Out of dozens of studies regarding the impact of natural immunities after someone gets the COVID virus, they all state the same, natural immunities are approximately seven times more effective than receiving a vaccine. You might need to read that again to really get it to sink in. They don't have any legitimate studies that proves otherwise, yet they want to force even these people into getting vaccines. Why? I believe there's something sinister going on here.

So even though the above is true, none more so than the Israeli study that included over two million people, democrats not only aren't sharing this information but burying it, but they're also attacking people who are making a legitimate choice on their part. Some members of the Biden Administration are calling these people "Flat Earthers." Why? They have every right to say my body, my choice, when the facts support them. They're being attacked as if they're lepers. This isn't right.

Maggie and I got the shots because we live in an older community, and it made people around us feel safer. But in absolutely no way, do I think we should demonize people who don't think it's in their best interests with so many unknowns as to the long-term effects of the vaccines. There's no way a legitimate doctor or scientists can prove these people are wrong. Let's see, now which party has a tendency to demonize and ostracize other people who think differently than them? That's right, democrats. Not a Party I want to attend.

The question I hope everyone is asking themselves and will be willing to start asking others, like your legislators, is why the CDC has an agenda which doesn't include science. I've known about several of these studies for almost a year now, yet members of the Biden Administration who have been called into hearings, shockingly haven't. Do you believe they don't know about these studies? I think it's time to find out why they actively protect the pharmaceutical companies and China, over U.S. citizens?

While we're at it, we need to find out why Fauci is still in charge when he has the accuracy of a meteorologist, and that he has been legitimately tied to the Wuhan Lab. He fought hard to keep China safe from scrutiny. He lied about the origin of the virus, and we know this, because he was saying one thing in public, while he was scrambling behind the scenes, trying to delete evidence of his involvement, but it was too late. His emails regarding the topic were already leaked. So once again I say, why is he still in charge?

And why do so many democrats have a love for China? I know why Hunter does because of the beautiful over $1MM dollar diamond they gave him, that he hid from customs and the IRS. Which reminds me, while we're at it, let's take another look at Hunter. 😁
