Budweiser is still reeling over their Bud Light fiasco. They've thrown celebrities behind the brand, but the boycott still lives on. Now Bud Light has lost $1.4 billion in annual sales and around 15% of their shelf space in stores. Too bad, so sad. 😁
People either survive in the jungle or live in the zoo. Democrats are busy building a lot of zoos.
Movies that are expected to be large box office hits often come with a 3D version of the movie especially if it’s an action adventure. I find it kind of funny that young people think 3D technology is new when the 1950’s were considered the 3D decade. I’m sure you can envision pictures (see below) you’ve seen of movie audiences in the 50’s wearing those funny looking 3D glasses.
Movie studios back in the 1950’s who were filming 3D movies didn’t have the amazing technology that’s available today. They were restricted to what they could do with the actual film tape whereas today they use digital film and computers to create the 3D effect. Most of the 3D effect back then was due directly to the glasses the audience wore which pulled the screen closer to them as if they were wearing binoculars. Today movie studios can use technology which allows them to take the same scene and put a couple of layers of the same scene on top of it. So, when someone wears 3D glasses it has a rich depth to it where it looks completely natural. It also makes images appear within our grasps which are closer than audiences were able to see it in the 50's. What most people don’t know is the first 3D movie was The Power of Love and it was produced in 1922. It took close to thirty years to get the idea of 3D movies to take off. Ever since the 50’s the popularity of 3D movies has come and gone. I’m certainly not saying it’s a fad this time, but history is what it is. Just in case you didn’t know the three dimensions (3D), are height, width, and depth. I’m not a huge art fan but the artists who paint are experts at the use of 3D. Think about how amazing it is for them to take a flat canvas and layer dimensions on it to where you and I can tell which objects are closer or further away. So even though artists for thousands of years didn’t call what they did three dimensional they were making it happen, nevertheless. Their goal was to create a painting that looked real, so 3D was a necessary aspect of it. Scientists believe there are many more dimensions beyond the three you and I know. We are born with 3D vision (a.k.a. binocular vision) for our protection. Binocular vision allows us to determine which objects are closer to us. If we didn’t have depth perception, we’d fall all over the place and we certainly couldn’t drive. A good example of the need for depth perception is in playing catch with a baseball. We must be able to see a baseball coming towards us (not just how wide and tall the baseball is) but the depth/distance as well. The speed at which baseball travels is a fourth dimension according to scientist. The baseball travelling towards us is an example of horizontal speed so knowing the rate of something going up or something falling are also considered dimensions. We might not understand all these dimensions, but they still exist. Young people like to believe they’re on the cutting edge of everything and that we don’t have a clue. I guess we shouldn’t tell them that 3D has been around since the beginning of time and that mankind has been applying it through art for thousands of years. I guess we shouldn’t tell them the first film made for 3D viewing was in 1922 and that movie theaters were showing a lot of 3D movies in the 1950’s. Then again, maybe we should tell these young whipper snappers! I can use these words now that I’m old enough to be a grandfather. The Small Business Administration in Oakland, California is boycotting taxes because their businesses aren't safe from the numerous robberies taking place and the city doesn't seem to care about fixing the problems.
Just making sure that everyone knows the Democratic Party is doing everything it can, including getting Biden to release executive orders, to get prisoners to vote the next election. And not just felons who have done their time and are out in public, but also those who are incarcerated. I wonder which Party they'll support. Note sarcasm. Scary times, so glad I'm just passing through!
Side note: The DNC requires picture identification to attend their conference, yet they don't want them when it comes to the most important part, voting. They are one messed up political party. The January 6th committee was so corrupt. Former Rep. Liz Cheney’s January 6 Committee suppressed evidence that President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital. The mayor and Pelosi turned this help down. The interview, which Cheney attended and personally participated in, was suppressed from public release until now. I believe we've found the real deplorables.
Joe Biden complained that he was asked about Beau's death during the investigation into classified documents being improperly stowed. He attacked the investigative team for getting so personal. The problem? Biden lied. Now that the transcripts are out, we know that it was Biden who brought up the topic of Beau, not the investigators. He's shameless.
Hunter demanded an open hearing and now that he's been given one, he's decided he doesn't want to appear. What a corrupt individual. His previous business partners are planning on attending the hearing which is probably why Hunter doesn't want to appear. The hearing the other day which brought in the gentleman who was responsible for investigating Biden and the confidential documents that he kept unsecured in different places on his properties, was very clear that Biden did break the law. Biden shared classified information with a ghost writer that he hired to help him write a book when he was a VP. The publishing company gave Biden $8 million dollars for the book which is a great motive for sharing the classified data. But even though it's completely clear what the investigation uncovered, democrats are stating that Biden was cleared of wrongdoing because he wasn't indicted. This is an absolute lie. The only reason the investigator didn't indict Biden is that he thought he wasn't completely accountable because of his mental deterioration. This isn't a good thing. Plus, the double standard is outrageous. It happened with Hillary as well in that the FBI Director said Hillary did break the law with her handling of confidential data on her own server, including the destroying of a variety of information including over 30,000 emails but they didn't "think" she did it for nefarious reasons which of course wasn't true. This is just basic logic. We don't get away with breaking the law and then coming up with an excuse as to why we did it and then get let out of jail. People in the private sector are held accountable and ignorance of the law is no excuse. The double standards have to stop! Bill Bixby was a very busy actor most known for his roles on My Favorite Martian and The Incredible Hulk. He died way too young at the age of 59 from prostate cancer in 1993; his best friend Dick Clark was at his side when he passed away. Six days prior to his death he was doing a guest appearance on the television show Blossom whose lead actress is now on the cast of The Big Bang Theory.
Bixby was a bit of a trouble maker in school and once got kicked out of a Catholic school for shooting the Bishop with a slingshot. In one of the schools he attended he met Lee Meriwether who also became an actor and of course became Miss America. He attended the prestigious University of California Berkley but dropped out with four credits left, making his parents livid. He ended being drafted into the Marine Corp (I’m sure he wished he hadn’t quit school). After the military he moved to Hollywood to pursue acting, where he had a string of odd jobs that included being a bellhop and lifeguard. He was then hired to work as a model and star in commercials for General Motors and Chrysler. While doing a local play he was spotted by an agent who got him on television shows like Fantasy Island, Ironside, The Love Boat, The Andy Griffith Show, The Twilight Zone, and Rich Man Poor Man. Bill did a couple of Elvis Pressley movies and was cast opposite Marlo Thomas in That Girl but ended up turning down the role. He also co-starred in the comedy: The Apple Dumpling Gang with Don Knotts and Tim Conway. His claim to fame came, as far as the roles most people remembered him for, were on My Favorite Martian (1960’s) and The Incredible Hulk (1970’s). Besides his own troubles in dealing with cancer he dealt with a lot of tragedy like the loss of his six-year-old son Christopher (his only child), from a rare throat infection and then his ex-wife (Christopher’s mother), committed suicide one year after their son died. I mentioned at the beginning that he was a busy actor as he ended up in 64 different television shows and seven movies. Like Michael Landon, Mr. Bixby had a great reputation. He wasn’t the partying Hollywood type and was instead down to earth and a popular participant on a variety of game shows like “Password” and “The Hollywood Squares.” He was a good man and like a lot of good men, we lost him way too early. Because of its importance, I posted this one again about the Big Bang Theory...
I dug into this theory (not fact), to know how it was calculated and I saw a lot of speculation. If there wasn’t so much ambiguity in the data they’re using and how they’re interpreting it, then it wouldn’t be a theory but instead it would be a law like the “Law of Gravity.” There’s absolutely no way scientists can effectively measure the light years out to billions, they can’t know how many galaxies there are, they don’t know how many stars are in the various galaxies, and they certainly can’t say with certainty that the Big Bang took place 40 billion years ago. They admit it’s a theory, yet it’s treated as fact by people who believe in evolution. Some scientists say there are galaxies 60 trillion light years away; there’s absolutely no way they know this for certain. They’re kind of like politicians who throw out all kinds of stuff knowing no one will hold them accountable. It’s especially easy for scientists because most people don’t know how to check their numbers and/or even interested, yet Christians sure should be as it’s one of the main reasons some people don't believe in God. Their data lacks integrity (common sense tells us this), yet billions of people take what they say and believe them without question. I think we need to start asking more questions. Like I mentioned earlier there might have been a Big Bang but taking how they calculated the data I seriously question their theory. The way I look at it is if there was a Big Bang I believe God caused it. The Book of Genesis mentioned that God created the heavens and the earth. What did God mean by using the word heavens? Did he mean other galaxies? One thing I do know (my leap of faith), and that is God is our creator; he’s the one who’s responsible for our intelligent design which is another article all together. If you come across someone who does believe in the Big Bang theory, ask him to explain how the theory works. Don’t ask in a derogatory manner but be attentive there might be something to learn…at the very least what makes them tick. I doubt if you’ll come across anyone who truly understands it; all you’ll hear is them struggling to come up with answers. Just ask this person how scientists can project that some galaxies are 60 trillion light years away, how some galaxies have 100 trillion stars, how they know the Big Bang took place 40 billion years ago, etc. The way I see it is our belief in God makes way more sense than their belief in the Big Bang Theory. Certain groups like agnostics and atheists like to attack Christian beliefs even making fun of them, they just don’t get how someone can walk by faith but it’s exactly what they’re doing with their faith in scientists. There’s a lot of information in this post and if you ever must deal with an atheist and/or someone who doesn’t believe in intelligent design you’ll have some good information to use. As for me, intelligent design makes much more sense than what some scientists are proposing with their theory, reminder not a scientific fact like the Law of Gravity. Scientists are conflicted as to what the earth looked like a million years ago, how could they possibly know what things looked like at some place (they don’t know the place), 40 billion years ago? I’m certainly no guru when it comes to these topics, but I did dig heavily into it. I learned things I never knew, and I was shocked at the methodology that was being applied by some of these scientists. Taking anything scientists say on face value isn’t a good way to look at life. We need to think for ourselves as to whether something makes sense…too often we’re just sheep and allow almost anyone to be our shepherd. I hope you too now question the things they’re writing and saying. Thanks very much for reading this and may peace and joy be with you always!
