This is what I lived on for four years while serving as a Navigator in the Navy. Hard to tell from this picture but it was around 435 feet long and although you can only see the top of the submarine, it was roughly three stories tall. We had 16 nuclear warheads on board; each one capable of tremendous damage. Anytime we went up and down rivers, I got to take control of the sub. Could you imagine not running aground or ramming it into the shorelines? I've never done anything as stressful. The Navy was a fantastic experience especially considering I was shucking corn and milking cows on our family farm before taking on this adventure.
I hope you noticed that the Biden Administration hasn't addressed this greatest blunder in U.S. history. This is what we handed over to the Taliban:
• 75,000 war vehicles including Humvees, mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles, and armored personnel carriers. • 208 airplanes and helicopters — yes, the Taliban captured an air force including 20 A-29 Super Tucano attack aircraft and Black Hawk helicopters. • 600,000 rifles, machine guns, shotguns, and howitzers were transferred to Afghan security forces. I find it absolutely disgusting that they're running from this extremely dangerous mistake they made. I'm not a military strategist but even I know that the military should stay until all applicable civilians are out and all important military supplies and equipment are removed. Then, and only then, do you pull out the military. The DOD and State Department have been bragging about the tens of thousands they got out of Afghanistan but the fact is, 97% of those are Afghans, leaving some U.S. citizens stranded. They'll especially be stranded when the military pulls out on 8/31. Believe me, the Biden Administration doesn't have a mantra of "No one left behind." Then I recently found that we only had 32 people in the airport vetting the people coming through. How could they have possibly processed tens of thousands of people in a matter of days? They couldn't. It's a lie. BTW: Should we believe they took out two key ISUS fighters? It might be true but that's the problem with being a bunch of liars, you leave people in doubt of anything you claim. Great summaries of the classics:
1) War and Peace (Everyone is sad and it snows.) 2) The Grapes of Wrath (Farming sucks. Road trip! Road trip sucks.) 3) Dante's Inferno (All hell breaks loose.) 4) Beowulf (Hero kills monster. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Dragon kills hero.) 5) Crime and Punishment (Murderer feels bad. Goes to jail. Feels better.) That just saved you about 1,000 hours of reading. :) I just finished watching great, on-the-street interviews of African Americans regarding voter identification, and they were miffed at the notion that they live in the stone ages and don't have I.D.'s. Every one of them said they couldn't get through the various day in and day out of living without showing their I.D.'s somewhere. They didn't even know anyone in their circle of family and friends who didn't have identification. Then they ripped into liberals pushing the narrative that they don't have internet access so they're misinformed and/or uninformed.
The bottom line is the media doesn't focus on these people, only the ones that they can find who support the voter suppression narrative in the Democratic Party because they are an extension of this Party. Sad. When a hopeful actress by the name of Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg arrived in Hollywood, an agent recommended a name change. Now she's known as the beautiful Jane Seymour.
I'm sure they meant well but it was a blatantly idiotic and a dangerous move. Here's what happened:
"The Taliban got the names from U.S. officials of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies who’d be allowed into the militant-controlled perimeter of the Kabul airport — permission that outraged critics called a ''kill list," Politico reported. Citing three unnamed U.S. and congressional sources, Politico said the move was designed to expedite the evacuation the tens of thousands fleeing Afghanistan in the wake of the Taliban takeover. Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,'' one unnamed defense official told Politico." We need an investigation followed by a much deserved impeachment. |
