We have $800 billion dollars leaving our country each year because of trade deficits; please let this sink in. Let's say all adults were given $3,674 dollars to spend to boost the economy; there's no doubt it would help significantly. This would add up to $800 billion.
Now let's say the government must abort the idea because they lost $800 billion to China, Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines. This is what’s happening now. The $3,674 that was going to be in our economy no longer will, it's gone forever.
Then the sad part about it is we keep allowing this to happen. Therefore, Trump's attacking trade deficits so hard. He knows we can't get that $3,674 per person back once the money leaves the states.
Maybe his plan isn't perfect, and we need to adjust some of the tariffs, but at least Trump's trying. What did Obama do about it. Every year he was in office each of us were losing money because the dollars weren't staying in our economy. Think about it, he spent way more money than any other President and at the same time threw away extra revenues that would've helped fiscal stability. The media wasn’t interested in covering this true story.
Democrats need to stop being a big part of the problem and instead help provide solutions. I for one want my $3,674.
