A bottle of water at Costco is $0.25.
The same bottle in the supermarket can easily be over $1.
The same bottle in a bar costs over $2.
In a good restaurant or hotel, it can be worth over $3.
At an airport or on the plane, you may be charged $5.
The bottle and the brand are the same, the only thing that changes is the location where it's sold. Each place gives a different value to the same product. When you feel like you are not worth much where you are then consider changing places. If you choose to stay then figure out what extras you can add to yourself to make you more valuable to the job market. Or on a more personal level, how can you be more valuable to your family and friends? It's an interesting thought.
Have the courage to change places and go somewhere where you are given the value you deserve. Surround yourself with people who really appreciate your worth. Don't settle for less because you are worthy.
