Like most musicians, Jane worked regular jobs while trying to promote her kraft. She had a lot of material posted on YouTube and it was noticed by someone at America’s Got Talent along with the fact that in 2019 Jane was considered one of the Top Ten Emerging Artists in the U.S., so NBC was interested in her.
While on AGT, she sang a beautiful song she wrote called: It’s Okay. When she finished the crowd was stunned for a moment. Many tears began to flow, and Simon couldn’t wait to surprise Jane with the Golden Buzzer, meaning she didn’t need to go through another round of qualifying she got to go directly to the live shows. But it didn’t end up working out for Jane as she had to quit the competition due to illness.
In 2019, Jane’s career began making headway and then just two years later she died of a cancer that began in her breasts and then spread to her lungs and liver. She was just 31 years old with no children. I can’t express adequately the light that radiated around Jane. She had that Christian glow, and it was beautiful. For a young person she was very profound. This is one of the things she said that really moved me: “You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy.” Amen, Nightbirde!
Please watch this video in honor of a beautiful, Christian, woman. Thanks.
