"I love America - I believe in American exceptionalism. America pioneered representative government guided by a written constitution. We fought a war with 620,000 dead to end slavery. We defeated Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan and liberated the death camps. We saved Europe from tyranny, twice, in the 20th century and then, with American investment, innovation, resourcefulness and generosity, rebuilt the economies of 17 nations of Europe and the nation of Japan. Our arms kept communism from conquering the world. Our factories and workshops produced a flood of inventions and products that benefitted humanity. We built the greatest most respected medical system in the world and earned more Nobel Prizes in Medicine than any other nation on earth by a factor of ten! What country has done as much - especially in 244 years, a relative hiccup in time?"
I'll just point out one thing out of the many from the post above; isn't it amazing how we blow the world away in Nobel Prizes in Medicine? One of the reasons healthcare is so expensive here is due to its availability. You won't find any other place in this world with the number of medical facilities that we have here in the U.S. We've got numerous Urgent Care type facilities within 10 miles of our house and doctors' offices all over the place. In most countries you can't even get in the door if you have a cold or flu. The fact is, no one goes to the doctor as often as Americans. So OF COURSE healthcare will be more expensive. Democrats just don't want us to have the full picture because it goes against their desire for Universal Healthcare (which means more government control - notice the theme?). And which country rules the world with new medical instruments/technology and pharmaceuticals? Which country has helped save millions of lives around the world with our COVID vaccines? The U.S.! Have you heard anyone say thanks? Fortunately for them, we're a nation founded on Christian Biblical principles so no thanks needed. We'll continue to help others around the world - it's how we roll.
I'm going to wrap up with a very controversial statement, at least when it comes to some Dems, I think our country is absolutely amazing! How about you?
