Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (born October 25, 1984), is a great singer having started singing in church as her parents are both missionaries. When she was a teenager she pursued singing professionally in gospel music. Her first gospel album in 2001, was unsuccessful.
With music being her passion, she decided to move to Los Angeles to venture into secular music. In 2007, Capitol Records signed her as a music artists. She changed her name and has become one of the greatest singers of all time with over 40 million albums sold and numerous awards.
