It has been a long time since I’ve seen Al Gore but now he’s on the media tour pushing a sequel to his movie: An Inconvenient Truth. This is a guy who had little money when he left D.C. but now has a net worth of over $200 million. This is the guy who lives in an energy sucking mansion and uses a private jet that burns a lot of fuel to do photo ops around the world to push his global warming agenda.
When I listened to Gore talk recently he said that 95% of scientists support that there’s global warming thus giving him credibility. There’s no doubt that if someone looks at an annual temperature chart it shows it’s rising but what he didn’t mention is that scientists are all over the place in reference to how dangerous the increasing temperatures are to our planet since the increase is happening so slowly.
He also failed to mention that most scientists blame the temperature rises on population growth and the fallout from this. More people means more energy usage. More people means a greater demand for manufactured goods. More people means more housing development and less timber thus increasing the Earth’s surface temperatures because of decreased shade. This truly isn’t rocket science.
The reason Al Gore isn’t pushing this truthful narrative is what could he do to make money off of it? When the best way to reduce global warming is to reduce births, then he can’t be part of the solution with the exception of passing out contraceptives. He’s become a rich man by profiting off of the climate change initiative so having the world’s population be the major culprit behind global warming, is a very inconvenient truth for him.
