Global Golf Magazine thought it would be interesting to do an article on Amy because of her popularity. The magazine didn't know that Amy was such a strong Christian which when they did find out, created some upheaval within their organization as their mostly young employees, didn't want to conduct business with someone who is pro-choice. When the author of the article (Steve Eubanks), turned in his first draft, his company canned the project because some of the corporate employees were irate that she was pro-life. I don't know about you, but I feel more comfortable around people who cherish life like pro-lifers versus pro-abortion. Just guessing but I doubt if a majority of U.S. prisoners care much about pro-life.
Steve was irate that a great story idea was being shut down just because a bunch of liberal employees, who don't own the company mind you, are attempting to force their employer to attack Civil Rights. So, Steve quit his job which with his experience including writing several books, he won't have any problem landing someplace else and Amy will be playing at Pebble Beach this weekend.
It was an exclusive article but since it was the magazine that shut the article down, Steve asked if he could shop it to another media outlet like ESPN. The magazine refused. They said if the writer would remove mentioning Amy's stance on pro-life and remove any mention of Christianity, then they'd consider publishing it. Neither Steve nor Amy accepted having their First Amendment Rights usurped so they declined.
Steve quit the magazine and it appears that the magazine is going to be sued for violating both he and Amy's Civil Rights. There's been a lot of suing going on over the last few years, which I normally don't like, but I think that besides praying consistently, hitting these organizations in their pocketbooks might be only way to stop this crazy wokeness invading our culture. Losing billions of dollars in sales was more than a wake-up call for Bud Light and Disney while at the same time other companies will be reevaluating their messaging so their numbers don't end up like the other companies that stepped out on a very thin limb and took a horrendous fall.
Thank you, Steve and Amy, for shining your very bright lights for all to see!
