Stacey Abrams (D - GA), who lost the governors race, has been running around for two years saying the race was stolen because the minority vote was suppressed. She definitely is now wishing she didn't show up for one of the Senate hearings on voter suppression because Senator Cruz just buried her. I don't like her yet even I felt a bit sorry for her as she tried to continue on all dazed and confused. Here are a few things Cruz brought up that completely negated the lies she's been telling:
So of course Cruz wanted her to explain just how she lost the election due to a racist system? She didn't even try to answer it, she went off on a tangent without addressing Cruz's question. Some politicians are absolutely shameless.
- Georgia had the most newly registered minority voters in the history of the state prior to the election.
- African American voter turnout for the election was the largest they've seen in decades.
- Georgia was in the top five of states of those minority voters who registered and also voted.
