I'm having a really difficult time keeping up with the stories by so many Democrats regarding Donna Brazille's revelations about the Clinton Campaign’s ties to the DNC. First they tried to discredit her but received backlash.
Next, they tried to say there was nothing wrong with what happened. They said it was standard operating procedures and that even Bernie Sanders had the same opportunity to pump money into the DNC to gain their support. If this was the case, then why try to say Brazille was lying?
Do you see how discrediting their strategy was, they were speaking out of both sides of their mouths. Then after selling that it was okay what Hillary and the DNC did, now several prominent Democrats (including two candidates who ran against her), said it wasn't a legitimate practice; that it goes against our democracy.
If it wasn’t anything underhanded then why try to keep it hidden? Rumors flew regarding there being a connection between Hillary and the DNC and they kept denying it. Why do this if it was a legitimate practice? Quite frankly, I couldn’t keep up with the different stories that came out. This certainly takes away from their credibility.
This issue is bad enough, but I have to say what makes me the most irate is what they tried to do to Donna Brazille. She’s not perfect but she’s worked her tail off for the DNC and they were willing to throw her under the bus in a heartbeat; this is very sad.
