Who is it really going to hurt? The answer is people with less discretionary income. They act like they're the part of the poor and downtrodden while Trump actually took great care of this group, and they didn't even know it. How about those apples?
This is one of the major reasons California and New York City are attempting to push a "living wage" of $15.00. They've ruined their cities in almost every way imaginable and they want to drag the rest of the country down so that they'll be more competitive cost wise.
If they want to continue to do things which will ruin their state, and their constituents are okay with it, then that's one thing, but to have them dictate to the rest of the country some crazy, liberal, policies, on a federal level, is a recipe for disaster. Think about it, there's absolutely nothing to prevent them from taking up their wages on a state level, so why are they so aggressive about forcing the rest of the country into it? Because most of the other states have more successful businesses because they don't have to deal with all the politics of a liberal state.
California's economy is struggling. I believe they've lost a few seats in the House and Senate recently because of their declining population. Just wait and see the repercussions of the latest indoor mask mandate by Governor Newsome.
I already know of people in California who are democrats, who are absolutely livid at this point. Remember when the small businesses like mom and pops, were made to shut down in California while democrats allowed the big box stores to stay open? Do you remember the woman who got in trouble in L.A. for opening her small restaurant, with outdoor seating, while right across the street, Universal Pictures had a set, with food galore and people just walking around and eating? How come were allowed to stay open and she wasn't? If I were a liberal and owned a business, I definitely believe I'd switch parties as soon as possible. California is in a much bigger mess than liberals are trying to portray.
By the way, if you haven't seen it, the fencing is ugly. Various retailers are using different kinds, so it really looks like a mess. This begs a very good question and that is, have liberals changed their minds about border fencing being racists? Why are they keeping African Americans out of their stores? They know the thieves have been systemically African American. You won't hear this on the news even though it's true. So, they're not doing it because of white people, they're basically doing it to deter African Americans. Wow! Sounds like their definition of racism to me. It's how they roll.
Do walls really deter people or is it a racist thing to do like they said of republicans? Let me know if you find any non-partisan studies proving that border walls don't work. This is double standard number 1,478 with plenty more on the way.
