Out of nowhere, I received notification that they have a supplemental insurance program. Well, how about that? They wanted a government-controlled healthcare plan because there would be massive holes that they could fill. A lot of AARP members went ballistic over this. It helped AARP's profitability but didn't help its members.
Well, the tide is turning, and a new kid is on the block and they're killing it. AMAC (Associate of Mature American Citizens), is growing by leaps and bounds because they're not a liberal organization. They are proudly conservative.
What is disgusting is that AARP, in defending its decline, stated all organizations such as there's are losing members because of demographics (less people in the 50+ age range), which might be true, but they leave out some very crucial facts and that is for every person who joins AMAC, means one less customer for them.
You know why I know, AMAC is awesome? Because our future, first, female President, Nikki Haley loves their company! 😉
