Many far-left liberals (mostly young people), act like the U.S. sucks. In case you're wondering, approximately 1,000 people leave the U.S. each year and give up their citizenship yet we have 1.3 million (plus those trying to enter illegally), trying to become U.S. citizens each year. I'd say the evidence is overwhelming that the U.S. is a preferred place to live compared to all other countries in the world; pretty amazing!
Why do they hate our country so much? Why do they think we're so screwed up as a nation and that Nordic countries are better? The problem for them, if they tried to leave, is that countries like Sweden and Switzerland wouldn't take them in based on their immigration laws which are far more restrictive than ours. Unless you bring in some unique expertise in areas like biology, engineering, health, information technology, etc., they don't want you.
