Most scientists agree that throughout the earth’s history there have been five events that pretty much wiped out life. I can’t tell you for sure whether certain stories from the Bible are meant to be literally interpreted or if they were just stories with life lessons but I do find it interesting that scrolls that were written thousands of years ago have the story about Noah and how the earth was flooded.
How could a man thousands of years ago come up with a story about the earth being flooded and it ended up being true? This would’ve been a ridiculous claim because who could even have imagined it back then especially considering the terrain in the middle-east? How crazy would it have been to make the claim that water had covered the mountains? So I can’t tell you what is and isn’t true about the story of Noah’s Ark, but it can make for some interesting conversations.
