Can you imagine the fake outrage by democrats and the media, if France were to have pulled their diplomats during the Trump Administration? They'd make us think our country is hated around the world when that is far from the truth. Even the smallest country in a different hemisphere knows if things break bad, that the U.S. will provide some relief. It's what we do even though we get very little credit.
But since France is pulling their diplomats out of the U.S. during Biden's Administration, they've kept the incident low key even attacking France in their usual strategy of blame the accuser. France has every right to do what they did as they are trying to send a message that they shouldn't be left out of negotiations which affect them. In this case, the U.S. had promised France that they can build some of our new submarines (which no one should do this but us), but anyhow, the Biden Administration gave the contract to Australia. This is a lot of money thus why France is so mad.
