Having heard many Democrats speak over the last few weeks especially those 2020 hopefuls, I feel compelled to say a few things. First of all, our country doesn't suck. There's not a systemic problem with any "isms." There are exceptions to the norms, but people aren't discriminated against based on gender, race, or sexual orientation in our country. There are no laws on the books which discriminate against these groups.
Our Constitution is arguably the best in the world. There's no better place or time to be born in the world, than right here, right now, if you want to make something of your life. If you don't, and just want to be taken care of with "free" stuff, there are a few countries you can still go to although many of them have gone bankrupt and have had to stop the freebies and begin moving towards capitalism. There's one thing most economists agree on and that is capitalism can survive without socialism but socialism can't survive without capitalism. As British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said: "Socialism works until you run out of someone else's money."
If you are someone who wants more "free" stuff, I've got bad news for you if you want to move to someplace like Switzerland or Sweden, and that is they don't have immigration policies like we do. They don't want more people there unless they need them from an intelligence (job specialty), perspective and then it's usually work visas that expire after a project is over. In other words, they don't want free-loaders and they screen them. What a far cry from how generous we are with our immigration policies. Just another issue Democrats try to divide our nation over when the fact is we're an awesome country to those who wish to migrate here.
So anyhow, I want everyone to know that I think our country is great. I don't think it's filled with a bunch of deplorable racists who don't want immigrants in. I don't think it's filled with a bunch of people who don't care about the poor. I don't think it's filled with a bunch of men who don't respect women. Don't let these Democrats fool you, we live in an awesome country.
