This is how he rolls. He stated that our road infrastructure shows systemic racism. Even after hearing it, I still can't explain it. Local roads aren't the responsibility of the DOT, local tax dollars address it. So, the roads he's talking about that are around "disadvantaged communities," have nothing to do with the federal government. He has absolutely no evidence that our highway system benefits whites disproportionately.
There are more white people on the highways for two primary reasons. One, there are more white people. Two, more white people own vehicles. But once again, this has nothing to do with the road systems around African American communities. The reason they’re so bad is due to democrats running every government position of influence, in their cities. They’re victims alright, but it’s their own party that is victimizing them.
Are you ready for this? Time for another Prozac. Pete appropriated $20B to help fix racism in our road systems. Yes, you read that correctly. These are the requirements for getting money from the new fund: “The DOT seeks to award projects that address equity and environmental justice, particularly for communities that have experienced decades of underinvestment and are most impacted by climate change, pollution, and environmental hazards.”
I’ll mention this again. If you don’t like politics, it shouldn’t matter. It’s time to get in the game because we do have responsibilities as citizens to protect our Republic. There are so many problems with what Pete is doing, including that it’s not a federal issue in any way. And think about this, the money will go to blue districts and even though there are tons of horrific roads in places like Appalachia, their white people so they need not apply. A reminder, black farmers received subsidies that white farmers didn’t. If we continue to let the federal government trample over our rights, then our children and grandchildren will inherit a country that no longer has any dreams in the tank.
Oh, and did I forget to tell you, he’s planning on a similar program for ports around our country. The money will once again go to blue districts. There's an investigation taking place now in South Bend, Indiana where Pete was their mayor. Investigators would like to know why 23 corporate sponsors of his mayoral campaign received $33 million in government contracts. They don't think it's a coincidence. They think it's Quid Pro Dough. How about you? I wonder what new deals will be cut with this new windfall of money.
