Wow, already a month into 2018! I hope you’re off to a good start and that you are at least hanging in there with a few of your New Year’s Resolutions. I’m doing well with mine although I do have to admit that only one of my resolutions is a pretty good challenge, the rest are definitely doable as long as I keep them in mind throughout my day.
As usual there are a lot of political posts this month. Articles include: 1) The new tax plan. 2) Profits and sales dropping rapidly at some of the mainstream media outlets. 3) White privilege and flight. 4) Are the rich getting richer? 5) Which colony was the only one not to vote for the Declaration of Independence? 6) Free abortions for illegal immigrants. 7) Political correctness on college campuses. 8) Iceland’s new law to prevent gender pay gaps. 9) Cool things about Camp David. 10) Is ignorance of the law now an excuse in the public sector?
Along with the above political articles are ones that address other areas of life: 1) Who are the wealthiest commercial actors? 2) One of the most beautiful voices of all time. 3) Life lessons about honest scales. 4) What’s unique about human beings? 5) The 12-year-old rape victim. 6) Transgender athletes at Olympics. 7) Who invented the “Hold” button on phones? 8) The Eagles. 9) Privilege test for middle-scholars. 10) What it takes to be a military leader.
