I'm blessed to have grown up during the 60's and 70's because I love music. There's no period in our history of music where songs are still popular fifty years later. It blows my mind that parents and grandparents are going to concerts with their kids.
Songs like "Seasons in the Sun," and "Billy Don't Be a Hero," were so unique and mesmerizing. Of course there's hundreds more of these types of amazing songs, especially 70's rock.
But there was one amazing song that I heard about that my parents wouldn't let us listen to and it was called "Puff the Magic Dragon." Apparently, it was a gateway song to drugs. 😁
