There are over 400 government agencies (I’m sure there’re even more than I found) and they’re riddled with duplication of missions. They’re also a lot of agencies that serve no purpose and instead are ways to slide in more pork. See what you think:

Indians Arts & Crafts Board
Office of Innovation & Improvements (Art project for children)
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (Foreign Aid)
Minority Business Development Commission (there are hundreds of these programs at both the national as well as state level)
National Park Service and also the National Park Foundation
U.S. and Japan Friendship Commission
James Madison Graduate Fellowships (A government agency?)
Office of Elementary and Secondary Education
Institute of Educational Services (There’s a significant amount of duplication in Education) and we all know it’s not working.
African Development Foundation (Building businesses and infrastructure in Africa)
Corporation for National and Community Service
Radio Free Asia (Wow…this one blows my mind)
Rural Business and Cooperative Programs
Selective Service System
