I saw the John Travolta movie: "Michael," about 25 years ago and it came up on my On Demand, so I watched it again. It's about Michael, who's an angel, but he's definitely not what most people would imagine, he's a rough character but he has some great words of wisdom.
Besides Travolta, it also has Andie MacDowell, who I've probably been crushing on for about 30 years. It also has William Hurt, Robert Pastorelli, and Jean Stapleton, who blew me away. She's so funny in this role.
The ratings weren't great when the movie was released, but at the time the movie had some stiff competition from films like: Broken Arrow, Primal Fear, The English Patient, etc. So, I believe the ratings are misleading as I found the movie light, and extremely entertaining. If you need an escape, please check the movie out.
