As everyone knows, there have been several murders of U.S. citizens by illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities. One of the most recent was Gustavo Garcia, 36, who went on a murder spree in California and the reason he was able to do it, is that local law enforcement who had him in custody for a variety of crimes, couldn't let ICE know that he was there because of sanctuary city policy. There's no doubt in my mind that San Francisco wouldn't be a sanctuary city if Nancy Pelosi's daughter, Alexandra, were killed by an illegal immigrant.
Time and time again, illegal immigrants who are repeat offenders (i.e. assaults, burglaries, murder, rape, etc.), are let back into their communities. California's prison system has statistics that state over 70% of the current Hispanic inmates have been there before; law enforcement calls it the revolving door of justice.
Liberals say that sanctuary cities allow illegal immigrants, who I might add aren’t supposed to be there in the first place, to come forward as eyewitnesses of crimes because they won't need to worry about being deported. The fact is, in most cases they won’t come forward anyway. Even in African American communities where no one is there illegally, the police's greatest obstacle to solving crimes is that people won't come forward to provide testimony mostly because they’re afraid of what might happen to them or their family for snitching.
Their rationale for providing sanctuary makes no sense. Why would innocent citizens in these communities want criminals to be let back in? Illegal immigrants who commit crimes here, should do their time then immediately get turned over to ICE so these criminals can commit crimes in their countries (and they will), instead of here.
Do you think Mexico supports our ICE agents? No, they very much support our Democrat Party and want ICE to be abolished. They don't want criminals released back into their society. If another country like Mexico, would vote for Democrat candidates here if they had the chance, I think this says a lot.
