Democrats and the mainstream media are attacking Trump relentlessly regarding the I.C.E. raids that removed over 600 illegal immigrants. ABC Nightly News did everything they could to make the raids look horrific including showing video footage last night of a young girl crying because her dad was being taken away.
The thing is, ABC could take their cameras to thousands of homes in the U.S. and see children crying as well because one or more of their parents (legal citizens), are being taken away due to breaking the law. It's not the fault of the police for breaking up these families, it's the parents who broke the law who are to blame. Do Democrats want to not arrest anyone who has a family?
I.C.E. didn't remove innocent people, they removed people who were here illegally. What I.C.E. did was legal according to legislation by both Democrats and Republicans. If Democrats don't like these types of raids, why haven't they passed legislation (especially when they owned the House and Senate during President Obama's first term), that would make it illegal to remove illegal immigrants? They didn't because it would be ridiculous. It would totally go against national security in us not having the ability to remove people who haven't been vetted.
The companies who hired these illegal immigrants are having job fairs today. This means a few things including that they're not going to make as much money because they'll have to pay legal minimum wages to the new, legal, workers. These companies were breaking the law and the immigrants caught up in the raids were breaking the law. If laws aren't enforced, why have them on the books in the first place?
I.C.E. aren't the bad guys like Democrats are trying to make people believe. They aren't conducting raids because of Republican policies or that they hate illegal immigrants because they're racist, they're conducting these raids to enforce laws because that's their job. Could you even imagine having a country where people could actually pick and choose which laws to follow?
I find it interesting that Democrats and the mainstream media don't cover the fact that many Border Patrol and I.C.E. agents are Hispanic. This only makes sense as it makes it easier for these agencies to do their jobs when they can communicate effectively with illegal immigrants. So are these Border Patrol and I.C.E. agents who are Hispanic, racist against their own race? This is how absurd these liberals have become. Some of the presidential candidates even want to abolish I.C.E. This agency was created to protect U.S. citizens by not allowing in people who haven't had background checks. Saying it's because Republicans don't want brown people in our country is outrageous. These raids also serve as a deterrent to illegal immigration.
One thing I'm sure of and that is none of these politicians who believe in abolishing I.C.E. will win the presidential election. I thought it was shocking that Trump won the last election, now with all the crazy talk by Democrats running for office this time, I won't find it so crazy when he wins again. If he could get off Twitter, he'd have an even easier run for re-election.
