The Democrat Party is in severe trouble. They're imploding. The DNC should've been well ahead of what's happening and now it's too late. If they did it the right way, they would've already defined their party's platform and forced presidential candidates who have a socialist agenda to form their own party. People like Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders, Warren, etc., are pushing policies that are even further left than what Democrats were comfortable with in the past and are certainly uncomfortable with now.
It's obvious the DNC is now scrambling to not be painted as a socialist party. I've been involved in politics for a long time and no one can accurately predict the future but there's no doubt in my mind that the very ideology that will help a Democrat get through the primaries will be the very policies that will cause them to lose even more electoral votes the next election. Swing states will swing to capitalism other socialism. Trump will win the election and if he's not around because Democrats were able to take him down, then we'll all be enjoying President Pence running with the agenda we already love.
