If anyone has heard through their travels as to why so many African Americans don't care when blacks kill other blacks (like the 26 killed over this last weekend), only when a white police officer does it, please let me know. They say that black lives matter but aren't really showing it through their actions and words. Why aren't the usual people (i.e. Sharpton, Waters, etc.), marching in the streets for the seven year-old girl who was murdered in Chicago.
I hate to say it, but George Floyd wasn't a great addition to society. The family receiving $27MM through the settlement with the city, before the trial even took place along with the additional $20MM the family got on Go Fund Me, is beyond outrageous. Chauvin didn't intentionally kill him. That was never proven. So who's worse? Chauvin, or members of the same community killing each other? If black lives truly mattered to black people, wouldn't this matter?
