Brandon Bruce Lee also became an American actor and martial artist. Establishing himself as a rising action star in the early 1990s, he landed his breakthrough role as Eric Draven in the dark fantasy film: The Crow (1994). Lee's career, however, was cut short by a horrific accidental on set.
Not unlike what happened on the Baldwin set, the end of the movie included a scene where Brandon was to be shot. A freak accident occurred. The gun was checked and the bullets in the clip were dummy rounds, but when the shot went off, one of the rounds began flying down the barrel of the gun because it had a primer (it's what causes the explosion behind the bullet), on the back of the bullet which caused it to fire even though there was no bullet in the round.
The primers weren't supposed to be explosive like a real bullet. This is where it gets freaky. It wasn't the alleged dummy round that killed him, there was an unfired bullet in the barrel, and it was struck so hard by the other bullet that it left the gun and penetrated Brandon and led to his death. He was 28 years old at the time, with no children, but he had a long-time girlfriend.
Talk about dying way too early. Both their careers were going strong. And both of the movies they were working on, for Bruce it was: Enter the Dragon, and for Brandon it was: The Crow, became cult classics that are still being watched again and again by fans.
