In May, approximately 40 African Americans were killed in Chicago by other African Americans. In the last five years over 2,000 were killed. As you can imagine this is far below the number of African Americans killed by police across the entire country, yet this would be hard to believe based on what many Democrats and the mainstream media are saying.
The truth according to actual data and not propaganda, is that if blacks have someone to fear it shouldn't be the police but instead people in their own communities. Not speculation but fact. The greatest problem with the tragic death of George Floyd is that it became politicized which means the attention to the actual problem that exist will be lost.
You're considered racist if you don't jump on the BLM movement or anti-police sentiment. Of course most Americans believe black lives matter it would be ridiculous if we didn't. Biden said there are around 15% of our citizens who are disgusting racists and where exactly did he get this information? Just more divisive rhetoric.
I am saddened by what happened to Mr. Floyd and I want the officers involved to be fully prosecuted but as I've said before, incidents like this are an exception. The data clearly shows, including FBI data, that only .007% of police interactions involves shootings yet the police are being demonized. Why not judge them on the 99.9% of their policing? Why not judge them for how many times they've helped victims in the African American community who have been victimized by other African Americans?
I'm disgusted by how George Floyd is being exploited and I'm embarrassed that some intelligent people haven't done their research to understand the false narratives being pushed by so many liberals. They're dividing our country based on false pretenses; this is both scary and sad.
