Didn't take long (about five minutes), for Dems to start coming forward and explaining that the shooting in Florida was due to Republicans. But the thing is, Democrats could've done whatever they wanted legislation wise (including gun control), for about 18 months of President Obama's two terms. They could've done a lot overall but for 18 months they could've truly done what they wanted and crammed any gun control legislation down Republicans' throats.
What happened? Both parties do things like this. They hammer the other Party for their policies or not getting anything done on certain measures but their just as guilty when they have the votes. Democrats do so much complaining and obstructing but let's face it, the Republicans were embarrassing when they complained non-stop about the Affordable Care Act yet spent eight years pretty much talking about it but nothing else; therefore, they were scrambling when Trump won.
I admit I was livid that Republican candidates spent so much time trashing Obama Care yet didn’t have a plan to replace. They didn't even have a plan for "repeal" and "don't replace." The fact is even though Pelosi and Schumer are unethical nut cases, unfortunately some Republican leaders aren't all that far behind them. It's both scary and sad.
