In some ways sin reminds me of the lions. Sin can be stealth waiting until we're at our most vulnerable to go after us. I've been attacked many times, but thanks be to God, I haven't been devoured. Injured terribly but not devoured.
Animals who worry about lions are vigilant. If one gazelle isn't paying attention there are plenty more in the heard that are; they look out for each other. This is what we need to do as Christians is to look out for each other. If we see someone is veering off the path we need to love them enough to get involved even if they might get mad about it. As Mother Teresa used to say (in so many words), even if someone rips into you, love him anyway.
With the above in mind, keep your eyes wide open and your head on a swivel.
