FBI's former employee Lisa Page's closed-door hearing transcripts were released and she stated that the DOJ steered the Hillary Clinton investigation although Loretta Lynch said she would stay out of it.
From the very beginning, stated Lisa Page, the DOJ changed the scope of the investigation including deciding on which witnesses would and would not testify. Page said that the FBI was forced to go off protocol in the investigation and that Comey lied when he said the DOJ never inserted themselves in the investigation. She said that the lead prosecutor for the FBI thought they should charge Hillary under the Espionage Act for her use of her own email server in her home. Not only did she send and receive classified information but she exposed national security to hacking and viruses. The legal term for why he wanted to charge her with crimes is that she was "Grossly Negligent." Comey changed the language to "Carelessly Negligent," and said the FBI wouldn't charge her. Not only this, but that months before the investigation was complete, Comey wrote a letter exonerating Clinton. They hadn't even interviewed key witness including Hillary when he wrote the letter. Let that sink in.
But the most blatant evidence of FBI bias and throwing out protocol altogether, was when they allowed Clinton and her attorneys to decide which emails to turn over to the FBI. Who in the world would turn over evidence to the FBI voluntarily that would lead to their arrest? If the roles were reversed and someone like Trump was involved, the FBI would've raided his home in the middle of the night and taken the server and all mobile devices; this is a fact because this is their standard protocol.
