Not a single movie nominated was considered highly successful but the elitists in Hollywood don’t care. They like to use the Oscars to demonstrate how much more moral they are as a group of people and how much more intellectually advanced they are than the rest of us. They're cultured, we're not. Where they get this notion since they’re actors, I don’t know, but the bottom line is they think an awful lot about their knowledge when it comes to economics, history, politics, science, social science, etc. It really is strange. They’re an arrogant group.
Up for Oscars included: King Richard (Will Smith), The Tragedy of Macbeth (Denzel Washington), and Being the Ricardos (Javier Bardem). None of them had long theater runs and on-line purchases and rentals of the movies, have been slim. But once again, this doesn’t matter. It’s about proving how WOKE they are. The criteria for getting nominated included that each movie production had to have a certain percentage of casts members and set personnel be from the LGBTQ community. There was an established amount of people of color who had to be in the movie. This doesn’t apply to movies predominantly cast for African American actors; there’s no requirement for a certain amount of white, straight, people to be in movies.
The Devil has done great work in Hollywood; I’ve got to give him his props. The only way to get rid of evil like them, is to remove their money supply. Boycott movies and sporting events, and we’ll see a different attitude forming where they begin to appreciate their fan base and not walk all over them and treat them like ignorant scum.
Back to Will and Chris. Will Smith hitting Chris Rock was extremely weird. First of all, because there's absolutely no reason for Will to think Chris was trying to hurt Jada; he said he didn't know about her skin condition, he had no legitimate reason for attacking Chris on stage. What makes it even more ridiculous is that both Jada and Will (especially Jada), have had to walk back so many terrible things they’ve said about other people so to sit in judgement of a comedian hosting the Oscars, is beyond arrogant. How would Jada and Will like to have been slapped when they offended someone else? Hollywood is filled with double standards, so I doubt if they'd like it or felt the deserved it.
So let me get this straight, someone can assault someone else with words and need to be put in jail but not so with actual violence like Will assaulting Chris. And in usual, LAPD fashion, protecting the elites, they made a statement that they aren't going to pursue arresting Smith because Chris Rock didn't want to file charges. This is completely misleading; basically, it's a lie. The court case would be The Citizens of California vs. Will Smith because he broke one of their laws. It was seen by enough people to where Chris wouldn't even need to testify. So legally it has nothing to do with Chris with the exception of if he chose to or not to file a lawsuit against Will on civil grounds, which he'd have a case. In other words, just like with democrats, the LAPD misdirects the public for their own gain. Just like D.C. police.
The main reasons the state of California should prosecute Will Smith are: 1) Citizens are already tired of the special treatment the elites receive. The double standards. 2) Will might get the help he needs because obviously he's got problems. 3) It sends a message that physical violence will lead to incarceration no matter who you are.
