We were once again lectured by entertainers at the Oscar's about social issues The thing is, they can help people in need anytime they want. They can give away as much money as they want. The homeless population in L.A. is horrific. They can pay whatever tax rate they want as long as they pay their minimum. If they believe that a 70% tax rate is fair then the IRS will gladly take their money.
What they're trying to do is force their morals on the rest of us while they're not walking the talk. They stay in hotel rooms that costs thousands of dollars they eat meals that costs thousands of dollars. All this, while people are struggling to eat. If you've ever worked at a food kitchen you know their meals are very low-end. Cheese sandwiches are popular. I'm sick and tired of actors and entertainers who are living high on the hog while pointing their fingers at us saying we're less moral than them. It's disgusting.
