Who doesn't like Sheldon from the "Big Bang Theory?" Jim Parsons played his character and did an amazing job. He's now in a new movie called: The Boys in the Band, and the studio specifically hired/targeted actors who were openly gay.
What bothers me once again, is the double-standards which exist when it comes to liberals. What do you think would happen if a movie studio hired/targeted only openly straight actors for a movie or television show? They actually can't because it is illegal but beyond this, rioters would take to the streets and attempt to burn down the movie studio. It's the despicable way they roll.
Keep in mind, I believe the studio should be able to hire anyone they want and in this case, if they thought these particular actors would help their movie project be successful, then great. The problem is that only particular groups can get away with discrimination.
