1) A Russian Brigade Commander was deliberately killed by his own troops for the staggering losses in Ukraine when they don't believe they should be there in the first place. Several generals have also lost their lives which begs the question was their deaths "friendly fire," as well?
2) More and more Russian people are bravely protesting their country's invasion into Ukraine. I've never seen them involved like this ever before.
3) The Putin Administration is on what I guess they'd hope would be a secret "Help Us Campaign!" If they are such a military superpower with a legitimate aim, then why are they groveling to China and even Syria for that matter? He should be embarrassed.
4) Russian Oligarchs (basically powerful businessmen who were thick as thieves with Putin), are leaving the country in droves so that they're not associated with the invasion and the possibility of losing what they had by being brought into war crimes.
5) Come to find out that the other members of NATO, several weeks ago, wanted to talk to President Biden about increasing their involvement in helping Ukraine but apparently the Biden Administration was to wishy washy and wouldn't commit to a meeting. I guess he was afraid Putin would find out and hurt us. Poland was worried as soon as Russia began heading down the highway towards Ukraine and as a NATO member, we were obligated to begin very critical discussions well before Russia began killing civilians in a country right next door to Poland. At this point, we're no longer seen as a leader in the world. We wait to get invited to meetings. This is certainly not how Trump handled the world stage.
And lastly, I'm waiting for one of the world leaders at this summit to say they've been sexually assaulted by Biden. If you watch the footage of him standing around talking to these people, his hands are usually all over them. I guess he was sniffing Emmanuel Macron's neck to see what kind of French perfume he was wearing. I'll get back to you on this. 😄
