Pelosi did it again, although there were plenty of republicans who hoped she’d pull it off so she certainly isn't the only dirtbag here. Legislation was produced and then shut down by Pelosi, so it never made its way to the floor for a vote.
What is this legislation about? Well, it created laws that better regulated stock trading among the House members. It wouldn’t allow them to trade stocks with any company where they had insight into policies which might affect stock prices.
It was simple accountability and Pelosi shut it down again. What’s funny is that in this case, AOC agreed with republicans. She was irate that Nancy stopped the Bill.
