He won't win the lawsuit. NFL owners can higher and not higher whoever they want. His agent is still asking for millions of dollars for a contract and NFL teams don't see him as a good enough value because it's not just his playing ability which hasn’t been great, that they're looking at but also the chemistry he'd bring to the team especially at quarterback which historically hasn’t been good for him.
I've also heard some political pundits turn this into a race issue which is absolutely ridiculous because NFL teams are mostly black even though they make up around 15% of the population. How can anyone possibly say the owners are racists? The roles have reversed so maybe white athletes have a case that they're under-represented in the league. Should there be quotas? Of course not, but you get the picture.
