The Lying Game

4/22/2021

Yesterday, Valerie Jarrett sent out a Tweet that stated the following: "A Black teenage girl named Ma'Khia Bryant was killed because a police officer immediately decided to shoot her multiple times in order to break up a knife fight. Demand accountability. Fight for justice. #BlackLivesMatter."

How can we continue to allow people like her with influence to lie? It wasn't a knife fight, only one girl had the knife and she was clearly going to use it. It's not the lying so much as the consequences of these particular lies. They seek to divide our nation under false pretenses.

Add to this that many blacks are screaming about the officer using excessive force. That is idiotic. He had no other force available to him since the girl was about a second away from stabbing the other. I sincerely believe that if he didn't shoot his weapon and the girl was stabbed and killed, that blacks would be in an uproar about him not saving her. The city would be sued for millions.

I would not want to be a police officer right now because they can't win with the African American community. Millions of African Americans have gotten help from the police when they've called 911. They've helped get their stolen merchandise back. They've helped catch murderers and rapists. They have given justice time and time again, but I guess it doesn't matter. Because if it did, the black community would speak up for the police officers who have been serving their community. Protecting their community. As far as I know, the would be murder victim hasn't come forward to thank the police officer for saving her life. Why? It would make a big impact although the mainstream media wouldn't cover it.

And lastly, just this morning I heard an African American say that the police officer shouldn't have used deadly force and could've shot the girl in the arm or leg. Anyone who thinks this should be deported because they're a danger to our society. Anyone who knows anything about firing a weapon knows that you aim for their body mass. Why? Because it's the safest way to discharge a bullet because the chances of it hitting its mark is significantly higher than trying to shoot at body parts. In other words, it's too dangerous to risk innocent peoples' lives through getting hit by a stray bullet. And unlike what we see on television, if an officer doesn't fire off two to four rounds in the torso, the other person might still be able to fire his or her weapon possibly killing the police officer but more importantly, possibly killing an innocent bystander.

I'm so sick of what's happening. I think it's time we also bring up the word accountability. Let's hold people accountable when they do things to undermine the success of our nation. When they demonize half the citizens of the United States. When they incite violence. Let's put the shoe on the other foot.
