Another interesting tidbit about President Cleveland is that he basically married his goddaughter. A very good friend of Grover's asked him that if he should die, would Grover handle his estate and make sure his daughter found a great family to live with? He chose his own. The girl only had one other sibling who died from an illness.
His daughter's name was Frances, and she was eleven years old at the time of his death. Grover did wait until she was 22 to marry her (he was 41 years old) and it was basically the same time as the start of his presidency, so our First Lady was just 22 years old. Quite frankly, she gave Grover a huge image boost as he would no longer be a bachelor.
I heard a historian discuss Grover and Frances and it was interesting. He said that Grover bought Frances' first baby carriage and then roughly 20 years later, he married her. They were married for 22 years up until Grover died at the age of 71, from a heart attack. They had six children.
