You've probably heard about the school that is now requiring that all girls/young ladies who want to make the cheerleading squad, automatically make the squad so that no one feels left out. I find this very scary.
So now, all the young ladies who worked so hard to make the team no longer need to worry about putting the effort in. The result is that the entire squad will no longer be as good as they could be. Keep in mind, they're not just shaking pom poms, many of these squads are almost more gymnasts than cheerleaders.
In life, we don't always make the cut forcing us to work harder if it's something we really want. We learn more from disappointments than we do successes. The far Left are weakening our country through their all-inclusiveness regardless of merit. Their pursuit is equity of outcome not equity of effort.
What's next, they don't want to upset anyone for not being qualified to graduate high school, so they give them a degree anyway? What would that look like if students didn't have to push themselves? There are examples galore that clearly show how ludicrous this issue is.
