A topic we thought was interesting is that another major difference between mankind and other species is that most humans don’t settle. It's not enough to survive because eventually we reach for more. We drive past the proverbial “needs” to venture into the forest of “wants.” Most animals are generally satisfied with the basics of food and shelter. There are exceptions when it comes to pack animals who beyond food and water, have a strong desire to be a member of a pack.
Reaching for more is human nature. Some people might reach for too much in some people's eyes, but I don't know who's qualified to draw the line as to where greed begins, and necessity ends but the bottom line is we're human therefore we reach.
