Anyhow, I saw something interesting today, and that was an Aegean turtle coin. This currency was used in Peloponnese around 550 B.C. and then went away 70 years later. I can't believe that some of these coins are still around. At this point, each coin that is in good shape is worth around $3,500. I actually expected them to go for more.
Below is a picture of the front and back of one of these coins. I think they look pretty cool. Keep in mind, it has been around for 2,500 years. That blows my mind!
